This bookie doesn't do baseball. Just football and basketball. I got til the end of the season. I bet baseball online for fun but I dont bet that much. I just am stressing cause I actually quit gambling for a while then ran into this guy and I put in a couple $50 bets then lost them then put in a couple more and lost those and have been stuck now trying to just get back to even for the past 3 months. I dont even enjoy betting. This is like torture. Everytime I get it close I go on a massive losing streak.

There is no way it is going to turn into $5500 with $50 bets. There arent even enough games left in the year for me to lose that much. I doubt by the end of the year it will be over $2000. But still that $2000 is my vacation money for the summer. I have pretty much fucked up my whole summer plans.

Then I go to a game with these guys and I put in a couple bets and next thing I know I am in a huge hole all over again. It is unreal how unlucky I am. I cannot ever just catch a break. Gambling should mean that you have a chance to win or lose but to me gambling just = losing money. Its like I might as well skip the betting part and just give my money away.

I gaurantee this guy probably laughs with all his buddies when I call in with my picks. How the hell am I down $1500 betting $50 a game? That is down 30 units in a 3 month span. Thats not even easy to do if you were trying to lose that much.

St. Johns???????? I thought you were desperate, why put money you have to win on a bad team? They may cover but shit man, they suck. Bad losing, worse losing when you pick a crappy team and they dont show up at all...
You have a couple of options... im in a similar situation.
1) Do what im doing... quit betting on with that guy - hes an asshole. Tell him you are quitting and you will make payments.. If you need the action - like me - open up an account - put 50 in or less or whatever and play small, small enough that it doesnt give you ulcers....$10 games if need be, if you start winning bumb it up. You wont get upset if you put the money up first.
2) Pick a guy on here, expertcapper... kindergartencapper etc. play them every day with a standard bet - dont try to win it all back. Set yourself a goal (try to get it down to 1250 by start of tournament.
3) Keep doing what you are doing, but it aint going to work. Cant win betting with scared money.
Optioni 1 is what i would suggest..
It doesnt sound like you are an after school special yet. $1500, missing out on vacation... not the end of the world... Do option 1, eat in, dont go out, try to pick up extra income somewhere (dont know how old you are) extra shifts, part time job. One HARD week of doing extra work will put an extra 1000 in your pockets
