Just an update for everyone who participated in this. I went on an amazing run during the tournament then made my biggest bet of my life on NC and won everything back then quit gambling. I still bet on matchbook my $1 bets just for fun but thats it.

I was not betting $50 a game. I started betting $200 a game then got it down to $1200 then bet it on Carolina.  The stress I went through that game was unbelievable. Thank God it wasn't really close. I will never bet again. Unless someday in the future I become rich or something but I will not bet anymore as long as I can't afford it. Too stressful betting with money you don't have.

That means you must of won every single game you bet in the Tourney. That's incredible since you couldn't pick your nose before that. But whatever makes you feel better son.

No. I lost a couple but the nights I lost I just went 1-1 so I never lost any money except juice then got it down to 1200 and just put it all on the line and won. I had gotten it down to 1800 going into the tournament so its not like its that outrageous or something. I wasnt posting my picks on here cause I was winning and was so afraid I was going to jinx myself plus all the backlash I would have gotten for continuing to bet but it worked out for me this time and that is it for me. That was an emotional roller coaster I was on for several months and I never want to go through that again.

I know what you need to do...Did it myself for 3 years ..Lots of physical work + overtime hours, free room and board ,asian and russian women, fresh air, beautiful scenery and its far away from the south ...
 
They are hiring soon and i know a inexpensive hostel you can stay at til work starts..If you work from June til Sept. you will save $10,000 after taxes ..

Legawand I doubt you will take my advice but I am going to post it anyways.
 
1.) admit to yourself that you have a problem
2..) admit to your family and friends that you have a problem.
3.) Get help
 
If you do not follow the above advice I will guarantee you will be back in a similar situation within a year.  You do not want that to happen do you?

If you have any brains you will quit gambling Leg this is coming from a guy that is on your side and hopes the best for you.  Which is quitting.

Wow...it's a just a post on Covers man. How do you cope with "real life" trageties? Chances are legwand was attention seeking. .If his "stories" effect you that much pezeveng, you really should quit gambling.

Congrats on the nice run and I'm glad you erased your debt.  However, please don't claim that you're done betting, because we both know you're not.  You couldn't stop when you were in a huge hole, so what's gonna make you stop once you're even?  The same thing is going to happen again:
 
1.  "Well I erased my debt, what's a harmless $50 bet gonna do to me?"
2. "Damn! I can't believe I lost that bet on such BS, time to chase"
3. "Hey bookie, I'm gonna need a payment plan."
 
Cut the $1 bet shit out too.  You have a problem, and you either have to stop the betting altogether (no more covers, no more $1 bets, etc.) or you're gonna be in the same hole again.
