Seriously if I knew any criminals I would do some criminal shit for some money. I just dont know any criminals.
I'm the opposite! I got a lot of crime but no one down to put in work...
Agreed. I think taking the $50 out in cash and making that my limit for spending money on food will help. Those little sodas and snacks really add up on the debit card.

I'm in the same boat legwand - Work has fallen off dramatically for me over the past 2-3 weeks & my father is in the hospital. I'm having to live on little to nothing for food but it's doable. I spend about $100 a month on food and I could go cheaper if I had to. Here in Canada we have Kraft Dinner, americans call it Mac & Cheese. Costs 79 cents a box and a box will fill me for a meal. Plus it tastes good.
Spaghetti is another cheap food item, 99 cent bag of spaghetti, 99 cent can/jar of sauce and you're set for 3-4 meals. Eggs are cheap to buy and you could use them to make eggs OR french toast. Buy some bread & cheese slices, make grilled cheese! Another cheap food item! I could go on & on.....

Go to your local grocery store like Wal-Mart or whatever. Walk around and fill up a grocery cart like your shopping and just eat whatever u want while u do this.
Grab some chicken from the deli, maybe a sandwich, open a bag of chips, eat a candy bar, banana, drink your choice of beverage to wash it down with. When your done, leave your chicken bones and banana peel on the shelf, leave your shopping cart and walk out of the store.
I see people do this everytime I go shopping and management of these stores doesn't say anything to these people. A free meal. Save the $50.

I predict this will last.....1 month.
I spend $50 a week. I stop by the grocery store every other day at least. Just got back from a trip over lunch. Got dried black beans, chicken stock, onion, garlic, tomato paste, and a sweet and hot teriyaki marindate. Making home made black bean soup tonight, garlic, ginger, and teriyaki shrimp/scallops on the grill tomorrow, and had cajun pork loin last night.
If I could make a living cooking my friends food, I'd be a happy camper. ![]()

You can get two chicken breasts ON THE BONE for like $3.50 or so. Not only that, they taste better then the boneless skinless. Takes 10 extra seconds to pull if off the bone.
Tuna is relatively cheap and good for you. You can get 2 sandwiches from a can....I have a couple at work all the time.
At Cub today: $1.98 gallong of milk. Little sizzlers sausage....$1 a package. $1.98 Kellogs cereal. Shrimp are cheap....you can get 6 medium sized ones for $3 bucks....marinade 'em and grill 'em. 5 pound bag of potatoes....$2.49.
My business partner's wife is a huge coupon clipper...says she saves about $100/month (family of 4).

This is also a good idea. You could probably eat damn near a whole meal. ![]()

yeah there's a lot of money to be saved if you're willing to spend 10-15 seconds doing something that the grocer does - the markup on that type of thing is ridiculous
