As I said above, somewhere, we have definitely been taking it up with our partners.

But since we can't replicate this problem ourselves, we can only use the evidence our users provide to us. And so far most of the evidence points towards viruses such as the Blinx virus mentioned above.

Hopefully people will start giving you guys a little more detail, such as what ads are on the page when they get hit, etc...

Ok one thing that I have been noticing when my warning that says......browser has modified page to prevent cross-scripting.

The ad does not always load......and there is just a # sign where the ad would be.

Lock Poker is definitely one of ours.

It's a Flash file, and we know it's clean. Also, it's pretty new and only came on the site since these complaints started.

One of the tech guys suggested that it's possible your AV software is getting triggered by Flash files, since Flash has recently made a security update. If you have an earlier version of Flash installed, it might trigger it.

Also, I urge you to read those links about the Blinx virus and follow the steps to see if you have it.

I NEVER click on anything, and I generally NEVER download anything (and I definitely haven't in the last month), and I STILL got the virus.........

I really don't have enough info about the virus I got to help.....all I know is that it affected my adobe flash player and it says "corrupted disc" all the time (can't play any videos/games)

I have Norton as well. I use it on my laptop at work, and on the PC at home. I've never seen an ad in over 8 years. Never got a virus, or any kind of warning at all. I use Chrome, and a few different ad blocking tools. I wouldn't touch IE.

I've never seen an ad in over 8 years   Well I guess you need glasses since 90% of the site is made up of ads . But then again you know it all so everybody on here don't know how to use a computer .

Nope...no ads...none..... nada...most of the fools on here are not capable of picking their nose without causing major damage to their computer. You fall into that category.Use the correct methods and you will be fine.Continue to act like a fool and you will get fools gold..

Here is another possibility... AV Protection 2011

This is one of those malwares that appears to be actual security software, but it's actually the opposite. They trick you into downloading and installing it, then buying the full version. Really, it's quite genius, even if it's evil.

Anyway, we've had some reports from people claiming they go this from our site (again, this is impossible), so if you have AV Protection 2011, read these links:

I for one do not have av protection 2011 or 2012 13 ect . And would never click on a link or nothing to download anything I don't know like the one in your https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-av-protection-2011  What does this have to do with everyone getting hits on here ? I never got or get hits from any other sites . The only sites I use this comp for is here sbr Vegas insider espn and my sportsbooks and you tube need a every now and then I'm just trying to help out they all get blocked thank gog I lost one comp already

jersey, that's good for you. Still working on your situation.

However, we also have to respond to all of the people emailing us with stories about AV Pro and Blinx.

What this has to do with it, is that those people all have either AV or Blinx, and what those viruses do is pop up fake malware and virus warnings - which is exactly what is happening.

i was in one of the forums last night and this chit installed itself on my computer at home, now my chit is all jacked up....it screwed up my ip address info.  can't access then internet....thanks.....

I got Malwarebytes last nite which my comp came up clean  You can use the trial or buy it for $30 . Give it a shot mine blocked 6 attacks in the last 10 mins
