other than the "sci-fi" movies...i like ur taste..night of the iguana, i was gonna drive half the country to see the actual UNABRIDGED play in baton rouge last spring...wish i would have...

Movies are such a person thing... Some people like different genres, some people can't appreciate deeper/symbolic movies while others can't appreciate comedies... So to berate someone for their movie choices is stupid and infantile... So I am sure some one will attack me for my favs...

Now I have a friend who watches the same movie/s every night as background while having a beer/bowl, while eating dinner, playing cards or just as back ground... He would even just loop it on the DVD so it did not matter what part of the movie it was, if you seen the movie enough you can get into it where ever and know whats going on...
So he often watched... Im sure there are others, but this is what I remember...

Something about those types of movies dont require your 100% attention to enjoy them and don't necessarily lose their value even if you have seen it for the 100th time in your life...
Top 5 is hard to pick... When I pose this question to people I often ask them if they were stuck on a desert island for 5 years and there was a TV and you were stuck watching the same 5 DVDs for that 5 year period, what would they be?
I can't tell you the answers would probably come out different then your top 5...
