The Police are saying the shooting had nothing to do with the robbery.

The point is, Police should not be emptying their weapon into a man surrendering with his hands in the air and then firing a last shot when he is down.

Yep, they paid them to call 911 10 minutes before Brown was shot and claim he stole stuff and assualted one of them.

Nevermind the video evidence with a timestamp. Its all a conspiracy.

None of this matters because no one is really interested in the truth- only in furthering their sides position-

The police will use the "strong-armed" robbery as evidence that this is a bad kid so ergo the shooting was justified....

The protesters will ignore the robbery and cling to the notion that this was an innocent unarmed kid who was headed to college....

And the rhetoric will continue until there is actually an endgame disposition of the police officer- charged (with something, anything), the obligatory trial with grandstanding by both sides- and ultimately a decision that in some way justifies one side's opinion and inflames the other....

And we get to start all over again- still no closer to a real resolution...

At least that's how I see it playing out...

If any dumb motherfuckhead really thinks we should have fewer white cops just because a larger percentage of that local population is black, that explains a good deal about what is wrong in this country.

 

If anyone has a problem with their police force being too unbalanced with the opposite color, they can either move or kill themselves. I'd prefer they do the latter. The world would be a better place if they're that stupid.

Much more to come from this story. I certainly do not know. But to Slovak, canovsp, randist, and jeffmarketcap - if you truly think that the story of an earlier robbery justifies a police killing (at least the version that we have seen this far) than you guys are way way lonely tunes.

If he was truly a threat etc. than fine but to quote his "previous robbery of cigars" as a justification is as dumb as it gets.

Oh, no, it gets dumber than that.  The Cop that murdered the kid had no idea he was suspected in a robbery.  The Cop's initial problem was that the kid was jaywalking.  Walking down the center of the street.

Goose - I hear you and am following the story. I am just commenting on some previous posts by the mentioned people. The typical crowd who believes "well he did this so he obviously was looking for "real" trouble and was such a threat that he deserved to be shot" .

Well,  one thing is for certain, this Cop's career is over.  Even if he beats the murder charge.  May as well convert to Muslim and join the mercenaries in East Africa.

Two-thirds of the Ferguson, MO population is black. The mayor is white, and so are five of the six city council members.  The police chief is white. Of the 53-person police force, 3 are black.

You call it what you want.  I call it a recipe for disaster. 

Just seeing the footage of the youngster ( punk , thug , douche bag ) strong arming the shop owner - stealing in front of him , pushing him out of away and in effect kind of laffing at shop owner - the kid may not have deserved to die but he was a piece of crap - can't dispute that - karma is a b'''''-

No, the robbery had nothing to do with the shooting. However, why isn't anybody saying anything about the kid and his friend approaching the officer, pushing him against/inside his squad car, and GOING AFTER HIS GUN??

Which then prompted the shooting. Maybe the only thing that should be considered is excess?? And looking at the other kid in the video, should we take his credibility serious, when he says the kid had his hands in the air, in a defenseless position??

Honestly, what makes these few "witnesses" legitimate and credible? How does anybody know that they are being truthful? Hard to take it serious when there are accounts of the kids approaching the cop, pushing him and going after his gun.

And there was more looting and rioting Friday night. But no arrests. Why aren't they arresting these people? They don't, and these people will think it's ok and keep doing this. There needs to be a message sent. 

The apes will get loose and tear up the zoo again tonight, and every night, as long as wussified elected officials allow it. I seriously hope someone in the community tires of this BS and drills one of these grinning baboons in mid loot. Ghetto terrorists need to be wiped out.

Sometimes you have to leave a crime scene untouched for an extended period. I get that.
