Eagles Sign Noel Devine!

I was fortunate enough to meet Barry when I was 11 and he was the nicest guy in the world. Soft spoken and mild mannered. You would never know he was a professional athlete. With that being said, as an 11 year old I was shocked to see that I wasn't far behind Barry in the height department. 5' 8" was a pretty generous listing for him.

How come most Dallas fans on sports message boards are such whiny little ten year olds?

Decent signing and I get the approach, but let's not compare Devine to superb football players current or past. He played in an awful conference and was never even in Heisman consideration. Not saying only Heisman cailber players can and do make an impact, but don't compare him to Jackson or Sanders.

Ummmm.........Dan Marino has never won a superbowl genius....So I guess that means Marino was not any good either right?????  So plz stop this argument while you are behind because are making a real idiot out of yourself....A player cant be judged just on the amount of rings won....Bottom line is that Vick is the most athletic QB in the league hands down and is a MUCH improved passer from his days in Atlanta.....If you dont like him as a person that is fine but dont make yourself out to look like an idiot by criticizing him as a player. 

Yeah if you are using him in a video game. If he was so fuckin good, why wasn't he drafted? Oh I supposed scouts who get paid to find talent don't know as much as your fuckin youtube searches.

PS - I said 2010 highlights! I know college football. He had some nice highlight reel plays in his career, big fucking deal....so did Tim Biakabutuka, Akili Smith, etc. The list goes on and on. Speed and agility does not make a pro caliber football player.

You lose the argument.  The word "upside" was never used in regards to Sanders.  He was expected to be a stud from day 1 and he delivered.  The same wasn't said of R. Salaam. Give it up. 

Eagles fans need to stop thinking that football games are won at the athletic "skill" positions. Yes you have a ton of athletes, congratulations.

You still have a QB that isn't the most cerebral and has a hard time reading coverages.

You have one good offensive lineman and no depth.

You have a well below average defensive line and your linebacking corp looks like a scrap heap.

Eagles will get dominated up front on both sides of the ball this year. Bet that!
