There's a time for earning your keep and a time that one grown man shouldn't be telling another to do something that he can do himself.
Not sure I agree with Dez or disagree with him on this one, but I can't look at him negatively if he stands up for himself.

STRONGLY DISAGREE with your statement. I have heard of about a half dozen times of rookies refusing to pay their dues like they are so much better than the rigors of the NFL. Guess what NOT ONE person NOT ONE SINGLE person is still in the NFL. I am certain that perhaps several made less noise and are doing fine I am just talking about the ones I recall. In life everyone has a boss. If you think you don't then you are a slave to your own ignorance.
I agree that Dez already made a bad decision. Couple that with his dumb decision in college the man has already cost himself millions and perhaps he is working is way out of the NFL. Bad move indeed!

The best offensive player in the draft is on his way out of the NFL despite not playing a single game?

I guess that is a matter of opinion. I don't think that Dez Bryant is the best offensive player in the draft. Perhaps top five but that is just me and how I ranked the players.
YES haven't you figured out by now that generally speaking unless you are one of the top players in the LEAGUE the NFL owners will cut you and tell you to go F yourself pretty fast in this league.

I see both sides of it.
Yeah, he should have just swallowed his pride and done it, but at the same time everyone (well except maybe Williams) knows that Bryant will be a bigger part of this Cowboys team this season as a rookie than Williams will be as a 5+ year vet so why should he be carrying his shit?
Now if Miles Austin or Jason Whitten did it, ok. I just don’t think one of the biggest busts the Cowboys have traded for in recent memory should be going around hazing other players. Especially when everyone knows that player is going to take his job very shortly.

Why do you think that Roy Williams was the one doing the hazing?

Personally I think Williams is threatened by Bryant (and he should be) and was basically trying to mark his territory.

Huge mistake. Just part of the game the guys play with rookies. Suck-it-up, everyone gets hazed in the NFL. Nobody will think any less of you if you participate like a real man, just if you don't.
Bryant will regret this decision.

Roy Williams should not be hazing anyone. He catches passes like his hands are stuck in a toaster.
Regardless DEZ should of participated. He's basically saying he is better than [from a person stand-point, not athletic] every rookie that has participated in a hazing past-or-present.
