Yes it is a far better example. In this example a wager was made with information not available to all parties that dramatically affected the result. Just like Ivey knowing which cards will come will not be coming out of the shoe before they were dealt. This "fair play" premise is going to be impossible for Ivey to overcome. He did hire one of the top barristers in England, Ivey is raring to go.
I am not rooting against Ivey, I just do not see him winning.

James, but he used the casino cards. it's not like he secretly inserted his cards, so your comparison is wrong. Ivey really should get his money, will he ? Not sure, because the casino may have more lawyers.
It doesnt matter if the cards were owned by the casino. That one party had information the other party did not is going to sink Ivey. Like I mentioned in previous post Ivey lawyer is absolutely top notch.

I see it as a good example, but people can't look past their hatred of casinos to realize Ivey is a cheating douche. You go there to win, but if you have to do it by cheating it's not really a win.
If all you cheaters wish to make some money off of these casinos go open a few online betting accounts with the casinos here in Vegas. During college basketball season so many errors in lines. At least once a week I noticed a first half line still up when the half was almost over at William Hill. Easy money as you people say. A few prop bets in the NFL I noticed at station casinos. I remember one when giants were a 3 point dog and they had the special spread for the giants +3.5 at +150. Not sure how long these lines were up, but can definitely cheat them although I'm sure when they notice their error you wouldn't get paid on it.
