Religion is a topic that can stir a lot of people the wrong way. I apologize.

So the curiosity of what will happen after you die is a big void? You have to live by some type of religion . . .you have to have some type of faith . . .

We will always be curious. There is no way we can find out. I have no faith per se. I choose to lead a good life, work hard, etc. I do not worship anything in particular.

You are correct. Religion was a great way to explain the world to people back in old times. It was also a great way to give people morals and a way to live their life. But these days we should know better. We should realize that we shouldn't have to be told what to think. We shouldn't be told what god is or isn't because no one knows anything for sure.

The bible was a great resource (and rule book) for the israelites to live by around 2000 years ago. Does that mean everything in it is true? Of course not. The only part I will concede that is true is that there was a leader of the person. There is historical evidence to prove that. But everything else? Pure mythology.

Who created this foundation of religion? Who established the morals and laws of the bible?

The creation of the world is a perfect example. The story of Adam and Eve is a perfect example of the establishment of family values. The cementing of the relationship between a man and women.

You can do what you want . .The Muslim culture runs hand in hand with the Muslim religion. Taking an example of bin laden is foolish. No where does it say in the Koran that killing innocent women and children is justified. The views of bin laden are of his own, not of the Muslim religion.
