For some reason, when people find out that you’ve invested in Cryptocurrencies, they want you to fail. They’ll hear about a bitcoin “crash” and then say something like, “I hope you didn’t put too much of your money into that stuff.”
They have no idea what they’re talking about. They haven’t done any research on the subject. The have no idea what cryptocurrencies are. They’ve never heard of Ethereum, Cardano, Monero or NEO. They just know that it’s a bad investment and you shouldn’t invest in it.
It’s amazing how boring, lower middle class, non risk takers... struggle to pay their bills and go on 1 vacation a year and at the same time have all of the answers.
I got the same vibe from people years ago when I was investing in real estate after the market collapsed as a relatively young kid. “Oh you’re going to have tenants?” “Have you ever done that before?” “Have fun getting called at 2am.”
Not sure what that mentality is all about but it’s pretty pathetic.

Everyone hopes you fail, just because they fail themselves. Mostly because they are too lazy, stupid, or dont have the courage to learn it for themselves.

Glad to see this thread here
I've been trading Alt Coins for the last week, currently own Ripple and Tron, and it's been an absolute rollercoaster ride. I find that I spend all my time at my day job, trading and monitoring prices and am losing out on sleep, since the prices peak and dip all throughout the night. I don't see how anyone is able to manage day trading, since the markets never close!
What's everyone else's experience with Alt coins? And what is your trading strategy?

Ive looked into it a bit lately from a business perspective but then when you read how there are big players with big money doing it, I am always skeptical of little fish syndrome and how defensive you have to be regarding security and safety.

i'm not quite sure how the alt coins market is for futures. however, as an ES trader, i do know that the overnight markets can be very boring at times, with less volume and volatility. i would never trade the intial balance, but i know some that do. just oo risky in my opinion. as a my own personal rule of thumb, i remain inactive after 10 a.m. CST and will maybe take a peek about an hour or so before the close. other than that, my attention is not on the market. from selling education to futures traders, i noticed that most people made dumb mistakes trying to force things that weren't that during those periods of times where i will be inactive. again, this is for index futures. not too sure how BTC works but maybe this will help?
