80's Arcade games

They had Donkey Kong in the lobby at the drive in. I was killing it and never got so far but my girlfriend let me play for a few more minutes then said lets go.  Her name was deep throat Becky so I had no choice.

As a teen-used to puff a little weed with friends and spend an hour playing frogger & Galaga. Those arcades were dark & like mini Casinos for teens. Those games were addicting.

Any baseball game, especially Home Run derby - there was even a 2 player table top one where you could throw knuckleballs

What was the one where you were driving and you had to run over the green balls in the road to increase your play time? You pulled up into the back of a semi I think.

 

"Little Elf is about to die...", I still remember that phrase from Gauntlet.

The game I was good at was "Defender". The best game I had lasted for hours and you couldn't beat that value with just a quarter.

Oh, Space invader, too.

For the Intellivision, you couldn't beat Dungeons & Dragons, Burger Time or Astrosmash.

Arcade: Asteroids, Defender, Missle Command, & Pole P were my top 4

I had intellivision, the horse racing game is what I think introduced me to odds and gambling initially. I think I was about 10 when I got it.

Most are mentioned Asteroids, Defender, Joust, Tron, Missile Command, Dig Dug, Dragons Lair and Space Ace (I was in awe when those first came out), Frogger, Centipede, Jungle King, Contra, Beserk, loved Battle Zone so many others.

intellevision was the best game console ever, better than this complicated XBOX and PS15 garbage.  baseball, soccer and football were great. 

Intellivision baseball is the greatest console game ever.

The Simpsons arcade game was a classic. Loved that game 

Missile Command and Pitfall 

I know you kids wouldn't remember or probably even heard of it but the one that started it all was absolutely addicting with it's simplicity yet impossible mastery . PONG.

They put one in clubhouse at golf course and there was always line-ups to play
