So for older folk like me or just general classic arcade fans, what is the game(s) you played and still play now?

I was at a local Amazing Jakes yesterday and they had the diff games, new ones and old ones..and to me the new games (outside this retro game that seemed new) are all the same, either kill games or race games..the creativity is gone.

Some of the retro games I still enjoy are Gunsmoke, 1944, Street Fighter, Pengo, Bubble Bobble..

I own one of those Ultimate Arcade games and will never get bored of playing the classics.

Yeah...asteroids, and pinball. If ever in Vegas you have to go to the Pinball Hall of Fame, it is awesome

Rampage.....Track and Field.  A couple of others.

    Dragon's Lair

That puppy was tough, but the graphics were awesome for the times.

I saw something on TV that had Tecmo Bowl (for Nintendo) on it.

Brought me right back to the 80's.

I remember there was an unstoppable play (I think it was the broncos) and a few other quirks.

    Funny....

I used to love playing Dragon's Lair and Space Ace. At the time those were the best interactive games w/ the best graphics.

Asteroids, Space Invaders, Defender, Joust, Frogger, Pac Man & Mrs Pac Man, The football game with that ball you had to spin.

This is bringing back memories when I was a teen back in the 80's.

Dig Dug was a great game...   Sports wise, I remember playing 10 Yard Fight so much that I still can't get the sound the players made out of my head

In the bars and dropping a shitload of quarters into  Asteroids,Arkanoid and Birdie King

In an arcade a dual sided Ninentendo baseball game,my buddy and I would play entire games vs each other for $$.We'd have to have a stack of quarters on top at the ready and sometimes the game had a quirk where it would have a rain delay/cancellation in the middle of it.

I grew up playing the home consoles more so, but Galaga was one of my favorite arcade games.  Simple, classic, fun!

I forgot about Arkanoid....  I have that on Nintendo also, that was always a fun game.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but was John Elways Football the first stand-up football arcade game?

My mom would always drop me off at the arcade with about $5-10 while she went shopping. I blew through the cash pretty quick and spent the next hour or so looking on the floor and under the machines for spare change.

But games that come to mind from that era are the Michael Jackson MOONWALKER. That game seemed like you got your money's worth.

The other was the Simpsons arcade game, although I don't think that came out until 1991. That was another one that you got your money's worth.

As far as old school I go with Pac-Man.

1989 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles The Arcade Game

This thing probably ate up most of my money that I had back then.  Was absolutly addicted....   There was also a really good WWF game, I remember pumping rolls of quarters in them on Spring Break in Myrtle Beach

Missle Command needs to be mentioned, along with another Centepede vote.
