sportsbook.com vs player, $26,000 voided in multiple account dispute
sportsbook.com (sportsbook rating D-) has reportedly canceled $26,000 in winnings from a player. A player tells SBR that he deposited $1,000 on Saturday, February 5th. The player states that he won $25,000 betting parlays that weekend. sportsbook.com allegedly nullified the winnings on the grounds that the player was linked to a previous account holder, who reportedly owed $800 after performing a chargeback in 2009. | sportsbook.com report & forum discussion

AllStar and Sports.com are both operated by Jazette Enterprises Ltd.. Jazette is the label behind the sportsbook.com (SBR rating D-) family, and has acquired a reputation for confiscating funds from winning players. In this alleged instance of theft, the AllStar manager claims that the winnings were being voided due to the player circumventing limits. However, the player states that he was fully aware of Jazette skins policy and that he consciously avoided wagering the same game at each site. | sportsbook.com group confiscation report

Made a bank wire withdrawal of $780.

    Submitted it July 21st.

It was pending until July 25th. And is now Processed.

Will post here when it goes into my bank account.

So far, though everything looks really good. I love there mobile app and the look and feel of there website. So as long as I get my withdrawal in a respectable time frame, it looks like I will be sticking with them.

I used to use Pinnacle, because of there super super lightning quick payouts, but with them dealing with Euros it's a pain in the ass.

    sportsbook.com confiscates $1,359 in player's winnings
UPDATE — Following SBR's inquiry, sportsbook.com (ag) management stated they would leave the player's account inactive whilst paying the earned winnings. sportsbook.com cited an alternate reason for concluding bonus fraud had taken place.

A sportsbook.com (ag) player deposited $457 and received a 50% cash bonus. He made three totals wager before having his account closed with a note that his deposit would be refunded to him. The first wager risked his entire $685 balance and took his account balance up to $1,816.

The player tells SportsbookReview that the next day he placed an additional wager, before changing his mind and betting the opposite side to limit his loss on the game. sportsbook.com flagged the activity as bonus abuse and stated that the player would receive only his initial deposit back. | sportsbook.com statement

I have read all those, but you have to realize that some customers are just trying to pull a fast one.

You never know if people making these complaints have an alterior motive or not.

So until a site burns me, I am not going to write off a site just because some stranger didn't follow guidelines and screwed themselves out of cash.

Only time will tell I guess.

I have been a member on this site for 4 years now, I use it for the lines, not to come into these message boards and argue with other people.

I only posted in this thread because I was having the same problem having not received my withdrawal for over a month and wanted to see if others were experiencing it.

A quick IP check by any mod or admin on this site will show that I live in Columbus, Ohio and clearly don't work for any sportsbook.

I also use at least 3 other sportsbooks online regularly, and happened to use sportsbook.com during the NBA playoffs because of a bonus I received.

As for the original topic, I did get my money deposited yesterday.  Three days after receiving the card (which took about 5 weeks for the card to reach me).

To answer a couple of other questions, you can receive it in the U.S. (I'm in Ohio), and you can withdraw money at an ATM, it's basically just like a prepaid debit card you would buy at a gas station or grocery store.

I'm not sure if there's a limit daily to withdrawing it, I took a few hundred out today.

It's definitely not the quickest withdrawal I've received from a book though, Bodog and BetUS in the past have been much easier to get money from.

You got to know that there is 2 sides to every story Peter.

You can try and talk them out of Sportsbook.com, but I have enjoyed the site thoroughly and hope that other people can enjoy it, just as I have.

This is what the forum is for.... you can hear good oppinions and bad oppinions on any site.

By the looks of all the complaints Sportsbook.com is just more strict then the regular sites.

I also don't completely trust the Sportsbook Review sites (although I do read them).

They get paid to give sites good ratings. Everything is about making money.

And I am sure some of the complaints against the A+ Rating sites don't ever see the light of day.

I'm not even disagreeing with you that they may be a little shady and definitely not the most reliable on withdraws (4-6 weeks is a long turn around in my experience).

But it should be noted that in this thread there are people with 2000-3000 posts that have already mentioned receiving their payouts and using the book this year with no problems.

Do they work for the site also?

im highly suspect of anyone who has never posted all or a sudden  does post with positive things to say about a sportbook as suspect as this one

and as far as SBR...... followed them for years if they give a sports book an A rating they are usually pretty solid , and the sports books that they have on their avoid list have been proven nightmare's

to ignore the only watchdog that rates these books,  to right them off saying they have their own agenda   i dont think is smart .

why would anyone need sportsbook.com,  when there are so  many more trusted ones out there..... seems ridicuilous to me .

I don't know anything about SBR, and like I said I use a few different books. I definitely don't need to use any of them.

But there are still obviously people using them and not having a problem.

It's fine to warn people about them and all if there is something sketchy going on people should know about it. But don't just start calling people out and throwing accusations of us working for them and trying to cover something up.

    Good post

Some of the complaints lodged against these books were from outright scammers, syndicates.

The sites sometimes bend the rules for advertising books but not for the ones who buy ads. Wagerweb and sportbook.com have bad reps, from these watchdog sites, because they wont play ball

It is also common to have shills from the books posting favorable stories.

It would be imposable for SB to stay in business and have so many clients if they did not pay, same thing with wagerweb, or Easysports.

Dont believe everything you read here, find out for yourself, make small deposits and request payouts and see

They will pay you eventually. Lately they are very slow. I made a bank transfer withdrawal in June, took 4 weeks to get it. Then I made a cheque withdraw about 10 days ago, received in 4 days? Not sure what the delays are all about, but they have paid me everytime over the last 3 years.

Just to update everyone....my withdrawal went into my bank account today.

So it was pending for 6 days, and then once processed took 2 days to go into my account.

Way faster then I expected. Good job Sportsbook.com!

Just got notice of my DHL tracking number for a withdrawal of 1400 bucks. I placed the withdrawal on monday so it took 3 days to process. They stated it could take 4-6 weeks. The way i see it, if i get my money in that time span everytime, im happy. I could understand why it would take so long since the recent fury against sportsbook started and everybody wants to cash out. Been with them for years and always got paid. Thanks sportsbook!

In a nutshell, Sportsbook has been pulling this crap for a long time. Thier average time to recieve a check is 4-6 weeks. I was a customer, but no more... it took me 6 months to get paid...I had 2 of thier checks bounce on me..need to get it from the bank to prove it bounced so that i can get my money. Blamed it on the processors. I heard stories of debit cards sent with no money posted in them. Resend sending cards and checks delays your money.

Dont take my word for it, its all over the net...this has been happening since 2005 at least. Research your book before you put your money in.

With great books like the greek and betjamaica closing or leaving the us market, it will be a pain to find a good book when the most reliable and honest ones are leaving the us.

They will pay but its a long process....who needs that headache. go for the A rated books at sbr.

I don't understand why I would get my money in 8 days, and it took you 6 months.

Until they screw me like that, I am happy to keep getting my money every 8 days.
