Why don't you ask them who their current owner is then? What did you expect them to say, "yeah, we're owned by a company out of the Phillipines now." The last thing they want out there is the truth cause a change in ownership is VERY scary for players. Companys are bought everyday in america and around the world....Some fo the companies function better some dont. Please explain your concern in regards to them being bought....This could be a positive thing. Your assuming that the "buy out" will result in a bad situation for Sportsbook.com customers.....

Please, I want to know as I am concerned that I havent been paid in over a month!

You don't think slow payouts over the month they've been negotiating a sale in indicative of any kind of potential problem?

Hey I've used them for years, no problem. well occasional slow pay, but no real problems. But with them a) stopping taking new us players, b) laying off loads of staff in CR and c) rumours of a take over, it just says to us: ALERT! Get your funds out and see what happens.

And see what happens WHEN you try to get your funds out.
We just try to see things from more of an industry insider's perspective than you usually get here at covers.

Not sure what this means but they have raised their max bet amount for MMA. It had been $500 up until this year then they lowered it to $250. I tried to add to my MMA bets just to see what happens and they allowed me to do so. Not sure what the max is now but I do have over 500 on Fedor and they never allowed that in the past. Is this due to the new ownership? Or are they saying "fuggit we're not paying out anyway so might ad well raise the limits"? Could be nothing but just thought everyone should know.

I received my check via FED EX today too! Good news... I still have a pending withdrawal via the debit card, which i switched to cause i heard the check took too long, but i got my chk in 2 weeks. Did the withdrawal on the 26th of June. My worries are gone for now, but hopefully i get my other withdrawal, soon... I will remain with Sportsbook.ag!

I noticed the same thing last month, and went on their live chat and asked what was up and the $250 limits is an overnight thing (from midnight until 10am ET).

MMA bets always varied for me on Sportsbook. I had like $ 2K on Jon Jones over Shogun with Sportsbook. They had a $ 500 limit on the wager until a couple of hours before the event. I was going to the show and pissed because I wanted to unload on Jones. But, right before I left, it went through!

Rumors CONFIRMED: Sportsbook.com and its related sites (playersonly.com and superbook.com) have been SOLD.

sportsbook.com, playersonly.com or superbook.com account, we recommend playing it safe and pulling your funds out now. Their CS line is 1-800-632-6088. There have been reports of very slow pay recently (see Covers.com forum in particular on the subject.)

i had been with sportsbook.com for about 5 years w/ no problems.

this year i win, only about $500, and trying to get my $$$$ was like pulling teeth.

it took me from SuperBowl weekend to mid April to get my $$$$.

you gotta keep on them or they will keep your $$$$ until you constantly ask for it.

for this season, i'm looking for a different sportsbook. i want one that pays out more easily w/ less bullshit

ANYBODY HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS?

5Dimes, The Greek, or Diamond (BetDSI). I use to be a huge Sportsbook issuer because how easy it was to deposit with Visa. But, that was their only advantage. You can use Visa with 5Dimes easily. You will just need to build up your limit.

I used sportsbook.com for a year or so until I tried to make my first withdrawal and it took almost 2 months.

I have been with sportsbetting.com ever since and haven't had any problems. They accept Visa for deposits. And once you have sent them the required form and a copy of your credit card used for deposit and your drivers license they process withdrawals very fast. I requested a $2,500 check and after the 72 hour period they have in place to approve deposits it took about 4 days for my check to come in the mail via Fed Ex

i have been with sportsbook for 2 years and mostly bet during football and hockey season...

in reference to payout....no problems..

I requested a debit card from Sportsbook.com on June 14th.

I did have to hassle them a bit to get confirmations and info on the delivery, but the card was delivered to my house today, July 22nd.

Took a while, but it was within the time frame they gave me, so I'm not unhappy.

The funds are supposed to be direct deposited to the card within 24-72 hours, so we'll see how that goes.

How does a debit card work? Can you just take cash out with it? I've been with sportsbook for 4 years and they have always paid. They say that because of the volume of withdrawals it takes them 4-6 weeks.

GL everyone with the withdrawals. Hope sportsbook comes thru for everyone. I will stay loyal until they moon me.
