I don't even know if i'd say MOST Americans hate soccer. I am American and I LOVE the game and LOVE the World Cup, as do many of my friends. However, I also have many friends who could care less about the World Cup.. however, I think soccer is SLOWLY growing in terms of interest in the US.. slowly. In terms of percentages of Americans who "care"/like soccer vs those who don't care.. i'd say it's probably about 55/45 w/55% caring.. just a wild guesstimate though....Most American's hate "soccer"?
