Hit it HARD> Neymar and Silva both out... I can;t see this going well for Brazil with how bad Hulk has been too. This game won't be pretty I don't think.

If my book had +190 no way would I not pull the trigger on germany ml. They are only +140 and Brazil is +170 on the ML. My book sucks for soccer but the pk odds are similar. Germany pk -115 is probably where I am heading instead

That ML was right after the Brazil/Columbia game. That is why I jump on it right away. You're right, line right now is down to +165 or +170.

Well Metal... I decided to take "Germany Pick" in this one.. a draw would leave me a PUSH and I do have Brazil to win the cup at +300 so Hopefully I win my money back or pray for Brazil to win the Finals

1. Brazil games look fixed: The referees have been having a lot of love for Brazil and a ' nobody' (maybe he is just a nobody because we do not really know him in Europe) is blowing the whistle in the Brazil game.
2. A draw: Scolari is no fool and is not afraid to sent a very defensive thinking Brazil on the pitch. Ramires as a winger, Paulinho/Gustavo/Fernandinho as midfielders, and hope for a counterattack. In the game against Algeria we saw that players who have a pace can really hurt the German defence. So leaning back and hoping for Hulk/Oscar/Ramires to counter is a good strategy for Brazil.
I think the FIFA would love a final Brazil vs Argentina. Because that would be the ultimate final for South America. So I see the FIFA pushing it in this direction, also with an eye on the match on Wednesday.
Of course i hope the dutch will take it all haha
BOL everyone whatever you pick
I have some concerns with this game.

The WC Final is the biggest event on Earth, pretty much regardless who plays there and the GDP of Europe is probably 10-20 times that of S. America so an all-American final is probably not what FIFA wants. If you like conspiracy theories: FIFA would love to have Argentina-Brazil play in the 3rd place match. That would make that pathetic event somewhat relevant.
In short, I highly doubt we will see a blatant match-fixing in the semis, although refs do make errors all the time and the crowd will be nuts.

GDP is not relevant here because most Europeans will not visit Brazil and spent money there. Secondly, Most europeans only support their own country, and if their country is out they just ' like' another team, but will not really support i.e. buy merchendise for them.
Brazil - Argentina in the final is exactly what the FIFA wants.

Whoever wanted to go to Brazil is already there. The vast majority of the FIFA revenue is from TV and sponsors not tickets. In fact, Brazil have not seen any significant spike in tourism, while there has been a 30% loss of productivity during the WC.
Anyway, there have not been any blatant match-fixing in previous WCs semis and I do not see it happening here. The refs might affect the games but they will not win them for a team that cannot score (i.e. Brazil).

I like Germany to advance, but not nearly as much as I like the unders. The 2nd one seems to be close to a 50-50 affair, I think the Dutch have a better chance than what the books give them.

true, the WC is just a project for prestige. I do give my country a very good chance to advance. Except for the frontline Argentina is nothing special. Our defence is not the best, but i think Argentina is shitting their pants for Robben as much as we do for Messi. One of them is going to win the game with an individual action, 0-0 is a very appealing score too to bet on in my opinion

The Brazil quarterfinal match looked as "rigged" as any game in any sport in any country that I have ever seen. Remember people, THIS IS NOT THE USA or EUROPE! The intimidation and threats of looming violence towards officials and the general public is very real upon the day, if and when Brazil is eliminated.
Riots and violence ARE EXPECTED if and when Brazil is eliminated. I believe this has the effect of slanting the refs whistle in the favor of Brazil.
Gamble for entertainment, invest for wealth!
