    simple facts:
    *both loss to Costa Rica
    *both beat England 2-1
*Italy moves on with a draw or win
    *Uruguay must win
*Italy has one of their best defenders out for this one.
*Uruguay best player beat up but probable
*Italy expected to switch up their defensive scheme for this game due     to the key injury.

    My opinions:
*Italy will struggle with the heat a little more
*Uruguay wears down quicker due to average age of players being much older
    Coaching: adv. Italy
    Motivation: adv. Uruguay
    Endurance: Italy
    Conditions: adv. Uruguay

Still unsure of which team I will back.  Any Thoughts????

Italy will have immobile and balo up front. Should spark some fire power as in game 1 vs England even tho could have done more. Costa Rica out played Italy that game CLEARLY but Italy could have pulled a draw. Tomorow game I do see Italy getting the advancement. Draw or win. I don't see a loss in this. 3-5-2 formation. I would stay away personally from a gamblers view.

I agree Suarez is a beast, but he is not 100%.  Even though he has played well and carried them, his knee is not getting better after two games.  If I knew that he would be the same player he was in the last two, I would pound Uruguay, but he just had knee surgery four weeks ago and this will be his third game.  Thanks for the comments tho

Aside from Egidio Arevalo Uruguays starting line up is really young. I think Italy will struggle more in this type of weather but that's only one aspect of this game. Yes, Luis Suarez is not 100% but you saw what he did against England. With this being his second game I think he will be even more ready physically and mentally. I don't agree the way Prandelli coaches. His tactics and line ups change more than the weather. He's now going with 3 at the back and hes starting a defender that hasn't played in the last two games(Bonucci). Immobile and Balotelli looks good on paper but they might struggle to find any chemistry in this game since they haven't had any time playing together. This game will be determined on how well Uruguay can defend the mid field and counter attack with Cavani and Suarez. I predict a 2-1 score for Uruguay or Italy. Should be one hell of a match. Best of luck everyone.

This is his second game he did not play against Costa Rica.

The weather plays a very insignificant factor in this matchup, these are seasoned veterans, playing in professional condition, with both coming from warm weather climates...Italy has a roster edge, and gets a strong lean for a WIN in this spot.. too much emphasis is being put on Suarez's injury, if you've done your homework then you're well aware of the fact that he's far from 100% and is playing 'hurt' with the addition of recovering from major surgery, he will have no impact on Tuesday's final score: Italy 2 | Uruguay 1

I just don't see this happening, on the flip side, there are some very stimulating pain-killers on the open market, Suarez may come out mentally 100% and feel as though he's superman (there are no piss test given  for World Cup participates)

I'm pretty sure England felt the same way until he barried them two times lol. I don't even think it will be Suarez today I think Cavani will step up and score two goals.

Tough call but I think this game will favour Uruguay. Reeling on goals over 2.5

don't be naive, I come from reality....soccer is the most fixed, cheated sport on the planet, and you can take that all the way to the bank, few who follow soccer (UEFA) would disagree, world cup or not it's a permanent fixture, and part of the game... believe what you want, everyones entitled to  their own opinion, being gifted has nothing to do with it.he's hurt, and needs a remedy to recover, and play, you do what you have to do...

Really? then why after the USA defeated Ghana, nobody on either team took a urinalysis? check World Cup 2014 drug policy; It's the option of FIFA if they feel reasonable doubt, they can check two players as you've stated, seldom is this enforced, (because of the time structured results)
