aside from the gambling side of the game mexico was gonna lose in o.t anyway.  they turned off the jets with half the game left and basically prayed.  one of the biggest reasons that was dumb was for what the announcer kept saying...they arent good at defending set pieces.  well if your gonna play everyone back its gonna lead to set pieces.  they lost that game when they let a ball trickle back through the box with not a mexican player in the same zip code of the ball.  once it was tied there was no way mexico was turning it on again. but for the regulation win i do appreciate the penalty

i dont usually make plays this size but there is just no way no how i see france doing anything then winning in regulation. ill take a shot at a big play.  should be a blowout.

this team...they got heart.  we just saw germany dominate the US  and only win by 1.  

greece should have won.  they deserved to lose the shooout. gotta give costa rica credit once it went to ot with only 10 men. game should have ended on that full speed 5 on 2 breakaway.  wasnt a great set up pass or a great shot for a 5 on 2.  neymar ends it there. greece just doesnt have the offense though. was a great game though.
