Thats what im saying. Obviously he is not going to steal every time he tries but he always finds a way to get on base. Jeter grounds into so many double plays because he seems so impatient at the plate. Dosent give the runner a chance to run. However when i played i used to always mash on the 1st pitch. Its just so FAT and alot of the time the best pitch you will see in your whole at bat

The thing with Jeter batting leadoff is that he was better at that when he had Damon hitting it in the hole when he was on base. It just doesn't work like that anymore.

 

Niese was cruising before the rain delay. Now his ERA is on the rise and he may not even get the W.

B.J. Upton is one of the worst players in the bigs who gets hyped up every year. Every year this guy is supposed to take the next step and become a great player. He went off on the Sox in the playoffs and everyone was saying here is comes...And guess what he bats 200 every year

I thought Cecil would get roughed up 2 which he did...  Garcia  gave up 3 runs  0 Walks...  I was expecting 3 to 4 walks which is average and a big HR for the jays... They only hit a 2 run HR...  However a 7 1/2 Total with these 2 offenses and one of the starters being Cecil was absurd.... My biggest win  since  a Texans game I bet last year in NFL

Niese gets 2 outs in the 5th and he's now taken out. So the Mets leave him in to get roughed up and he doesn't even qualify for a win.

0% as they didn't run and Young grounded into a DP (Young is on bmt's team so it's ok).
