I have no problem trading the young studs chacin and garcia. Just not for a closer because i have none and 1 closer wont do much for me

Well you asked...so I offered. But I've worked so hard and moronically to get my offense to the way I like it and can't give up a bat without getting a bat in return. And I really hate giving up too much to get a guy who was recently on the free agent market. I rather just say I missed out than giving up a lot for that person.

I want to get a trade going but I can't figure out anything that works.

Morales for Gardner, Hamels ( or pitcher of your liking ) my only closer Simon and....

Gardner won't finish with half of Morales' RBI numbers. Probably won't get another HR this season. And won't help me if I don't give up another bench player. Pitching isn't as valuable to me (as you saw with Lincecum being traded) and Simon won't do a thing for me. The Orioles change closers like the weather. It's only a matter of time until he blows up and Koji becomes the starter.

And I HATE giving up more than I give. All trades might as well be even. Because in the trade of offered me, I'd be giving the free agent market guy I wouldn't want to give up.

I'm sorry bro, I know my trade offer wasn't exactly appealing, but where did you think that offer would catch my attention? Just curious.

I dont see whats wrong with Gardner, Lind or Jones, Simon and a P of your choice for Morales

Can't do it. 3-1 is huge. I like matching up players and doing even trades. OR giving up 2-1's.

My pitchers are Halladay, Gallardo, Hamels, Nolasco, Wandy, Garcia, Chacin and Brett Anderson. I am trying to deal 1 of them because i have so many. Kazmir, Olsen are pitchers who i would drop and Davis is good but i have no room for him

You know what? I just can't do it bro. Once everyone starts hitting...Morales will get tons of chances whether he's in the 4 or 5 hole. I mean...I traded Tex and Holliday for him for a reason and unless I get someone back of their stature, I can't get rid of him.

And we can't get an agreement going anyway so I guess it didn't matter.

The Gardner for Jenks offer is still on the table though if you want that one.

Gardner is your for Jenks. I just have to wait for the dust to settle after this blown save just to make sure everything is ok. If you get a better deal for him go for it but this trade is final as long as he resumes the closer
