FANTASY FOOTBAL HELP: RAY RICE OR ARIAN FOSTER?

I'm down 18 points in my PPR league, who you you start?

ray rice will get a lot of dump passes,
foster could get shut down.

If it is a PPR, Rice for sure.  He should catch about 5-8 passes (screens, check downs, swing passes). 

I do think Foster will get stuffed, he might get a goal line TD after a long completion to Johnson or something, but I think Rice might run wild tonight....the kid is a pro bowl caliber player who simply has not broke out yet. 

I think either way, you have to go with foster. I have both on my fantasy team. Foster gets the most touches and always finds the end zone whereas Rice has only 3 tds on the year...

that's a tough one, almost a coin toss

I think rice has a better edge against a weaker defense

but foster gets it done every week, he'll definitely get the touches

i'd have to go with rice just because houston's linebackers won't be able to contain him, and foster is iffy against the ravens strong Defense

I think either will get you there but personally I would pick the player that is going against the worst defense... that would be Rice against HOU's defense.  BOL!

Here is the bigger question though... who the hell do you have starting besides Rice/Foster that you can afford to bench one of those studs?

I started McCoy last night based on the fact that he gets thrown to a lot on screens, it didn't happen last night though.

IMO it has to be Rice... Baltimore D is pissed and hungry to kill someone after that game vs. Pitt...  wouldnt start Barry Sanders against Balt D tonight!

yeah dude, houston's defense is horrible allowing 26.8 pts/game, while Baltimore allows 16.8/gm

rice may find the end zone more than once tonight

Personally I would go with Foster.. Way more consistent, he's their only main RB, and I think he can do well against any D.. The Texans will do better on offense than the Steelers did last week. Their offense is better than the Steelers right now, and the Ravens are in a let down spot.

The Texans run D isnt quite as awful as the pass D, so I think the Ravens will throw the ball a little more..

You're over thinking this dude, obviously Foster is the answer.  Why?  Because he's been better then Rice all year.  Rice is basically splitting carries with McGahee the past few weeks.  All these dudes talking about Rice getting receptions, HELLO...Foster is second on the Texans in receiving.  The Ravens defense is solid, but this isn't Pittsburgh's defense against the run or anything.  The Texans have a respectable offense that has shown it can score some.  Foster is the OBVIOUS ANSWER!!
