I'd be mad if you did it because you had no risk coming into this league. You just took over a team and, if you didn't like the roster you had, you could just demolish it without risk. I mean...your team is already paid for.

Unless you added some to get that team...then I'm completely wrong. But if not...I'd find it wrong because of the situation.

I have no problem if you give it a go, find yourself 20 games back and THEN give up. But I said that the day after you got control of the team. I didn't want to see that happening right off the bat, ya know?

So the trade for Hamilton, essentially, allowed my to make this trade. Nice

If that youk 1 st rounder was today of course I would accept it. Now he has a chance to be out 2 months and I am getting nothing from him so I get a little pitching help nothing big but I get to lock up at least the 2 nd overall pick in next years draft.

Yea...I know. But I'm just happy that what happened...happened.

It shouldn't be 2 months though. Should just be a month (4-6 weeks to be exact).

It's the right move, imo, on his part. Just like Chipper. These teams can handle themselves without him. And if Nunez continued anywhere close to where he finished his every day gig...than they'll be fine. It's not like A-Rod was hitting for any power during their win streaks anyway.

i thought we had to keep our Contract Players until the contract given to them was expired, whether it was a 2yr, 3yr or 4yr..  i could of sworn u said its just like real baseball and if you get stuck with a bad contract then so be it..   

its not a big deal but i just thought the reason we dished out Contracts was to KEEP the guys alloted to each one regardless of the circumstances..  

Nah. I checked this one in the rules on the site. They're the same.

It's like Carlos Silva and Milton Bradley. Both are still being paid what was in their contract...but both are on the free agent market right now.

I absolutely LOVE my offense after this trade. I'll hate looking at my draft picks next year though...oh well. I guess I'll worry about it then. I still got three 3rd rounders and time to pick up some more picks by the deadline.
