I have some questions.

If I want to go over the limit of 4 players under contract...is the extra guy also for 2 years? And what draft pick do you lose if you go over?

im holding onto #1 overall unless you really wow me with a proposal and with u being at pick #8 i think u should stay put cause your gonna land a Top Notch guy regardless unless u want that #1 and have to have a certain guy.  i like the idea of getting 2 picks B2B after every 22 guys are picked, it lets me fill 2 needs after watching u guys select.. ive been doing alot of Mock Drafts and every single one of them i did i would of been happy keeping that team vs anyone..  (even the Almighty Cronkster  )

Anything more than the 8th and 65th just isn't worth it. Some great players are still around at the 65th pick so I guess you're right.

I can't wait for the draft. But I wonder how many people LITERALLY couldn't wait, had their draft, and got fucked by drafting Wainwright.

But still...I dislike these mock drafts. No way would I get Price AND Kershaw in the 6th and 7th rounds in this keeper league. And no way would Cargo fall to me for the 8th overall pick.

You go into it with your mentality and everyone is going about it as who will do they good for this year only.

u never know.. im passin on Cargo esp at #1, to many OF guys i can get a 24 or 25 so i wanna lock up a SS or 3B for years to come and Hanley or Longoria is my guy..

 

Kershaw and Price should be gone by the 5th latest.. possibly 4th depending on what guys go the SP route and what guys go OF/infield players

its all a matter of preferance though sparky, i wouldnt take a SP in Rds 1 or 2 but alot of guys would. i'll only take a SP if Felix/Halladay orLincecum are there at 24th but i highly doubt it..

I will answer your questions when i get home tonight. Im still not in baseball mode with college hoops still going on and wont be until march madness is over. The brackets i do are such a pain in the ass and i think this year there will be around 125-150 brackets.

If you guys have any rules you want to put in let me know and we will talk about it. Maybe there is something you dont like and we can talk about changing it or removing it all together.

im not even sure im going with pujols at 2, i have alot of work to do ahead of me,  with that list of players philly put up i might consider trading the pick to sparky. still some real quality left at 8th spot and getting 2 6th round picks is huge!

It's not there for the taking but it's still there for consideration. If you end up wanting to do it, I'd still have to get back to you since I have to see all ends. I'm pretty sure I know who philly is going to get now and that is kind of a buzzkill since it's the guy I want and I'm better off keeping that 6th rounder if I can't get THE GUY that I'm aiming for.

So much to think about.

Powerade went to the Royal Rumble and he usually goes to anything that's in his area so take that for what it's worth.

I don't go simply because I can't get ampted up for the atmosphere. I know I shouldn't, but I feel lame cheering. And I'd only get up and cheer for something as good as The Rock coming back.

phillyfan goes there with his kid when that's in town and his kid loves it, so take that for what it's worth as well.

  i think its worth it, i have a 6yr old son that loves wrestling. we've been to 3 events in the past 2 years here in Philly at the Wachovia Center (now Wells Fargo Center) but they were good shows and its definitely worth it esp if your father likes it, get tickets and go enjoy yourself for a night with your pops.. 

i recently took my lil' guy to a Signing called "SignaMania" and every year this guy from a Card n Collectable shop has wwe wrestlers come and sign autographs for the fans, its a mixture of old guys and new ones..   he got Auto's from Tommy Dreamer, Carlito, Mean Jean (the old announcer from my time), RVD was there, Marty janety from the Rockers, Greg "the hammer" Valentine, Virgil, Katie Lee Burchill, Sunny and a few other former wrestlers..  it was pretty cool..
