Also...when talking to you...I know you want Nelson Cruz. And I couldn't do Cruz for Liriano. To trade Cruz, THEN I would need a top flight strikeout pitcher who I can give a contract to.

how is that possible? grabbing a guy nobody wanted during the draft because he's been horrible for the Royals isnt stealing him from anyone... he has a few 20 HR years in the minors but hasnt done nothing in the majors.
he could pan out but Kauffman is a tough stadium for power hitters plus he's only a .260 hitter lifetime in the minors.. there's a reason he went undrafted, and its not cause we forgot about him...

Because he clearly hid during the draft and reappeared after it. I know that everyone secretly wanted him.
As for basketball...it'll be a good finish. I can pass a bunch of people who are lumped up in rebounds, but I'm not sure if there is enough time. It would be a heartbreaker to lose this one.
I feel bad for our first matchup though. It looks like Latos won't be available for week 1 either. But your offense probably tops mine.
How is our little wager working for this? Regular season standings? And if we're tied...whoever goes further in whatever playoffs we're in?
i think Latos will be ready, if not then thats ok.. its a long season. i grabbed Beachy as soon as ATL made him the 5th starter just in case Latos isnt ready, he's been having a very good spring..
as for Hoops, u have a few positions your way over with the projections like UTIL (+6) so it should be interesting...
whoever wins Hoops is up 1 and the regular season winner of baseball will decide if someone gets 2 or we break even.. if we tie we can go by H2H if u want or playoffs if we make it..

Yea...but I already have that worked out. I don't look at the +/-...I look at the games remaining and work with that. I'm fine.

Yea. His contract has nothing against that. I think everyone's contract should be against doing other sports or certain activities that you could be injured doing. I know you can get injured doing anything...but at least figure something out. No Snowboarding/skiing, basketball, football etc.
And I don't have many players to rotate in and out of my utility spot.
