Recent contest/grading issues

Hey all,

addressing the recent contest/grading issues here. We have released a fix for the NBA and NHL games not being available to pick, so you should not see those available.

The leaderboards and grading issues we are still working on but please continue to make your picks as normal as we work on this fix. Due to this issue, some contest emails may be delayed but once fixed we will do our best not to miss any winners.

Apologies for all the inconveniences these issues are causing.

what about ncaaf?  games were scored yesterday, but plays from wednesday have not been taken care of..still shows as if no picks were ever made for that day

Any pick that was locked in and showing within your picks profile for those days will be corrected on the leaderboard and units applied within your profile. We will do some digging but do not believe picks were missed/not being tracked within your contest profile.

Still Missing My Rams Pick In My Office Pool From Oct.24th.

Just realized the monthly contest leaderboard is still being worked on, my bad. I was going to say Thefike should have 20 wins and 6 losses in survivor streak monthly contest.  

but they were...i made plays for both ncaaf and nba for wednesdsay and for some reason they arent showing...i made nba plays for thursday as well and they aren't showing..didnt make any for ncaaf for that day

NHL 23rd results and made picks are missing and i can't see my own picks from 23rd. Like StL +200...

One more, has there been a change in wig ? Lines are awful and constantly favorites are in -200 range while dogs don't get enough +money.

Agreed....the fave lines don't seem to line up with the dog lines in NHL.

Hey Flynt, thanks for your team working on this....but I think everyone is wondering, what is going on recently with all the major glitches over the last few months? Why is it happening now when the site was working relatively error free for years? I think if that question is answered, then the frustration levels of some users will decrease.

any update on the missing picks for NCAAF office pools? My group is missing a lot from 10/23 and 10/24. No record of them on the site but users picked them in our pool.

@revnecro1273 - I will have the devs look into this as you aren't the first to report missing picks from Oct 23rd/24th.

@snafu68 & @tvigilante2020 - We did change the lines provider for NHL as there was an issue with the feed we were using from a few of them, I will attempt to change it back to the feed we regularly use.

@tvigilante202 - We have definitely noticed an up-tick in contest issues over the past few months, and are working with the team to combat them. I am unsure the exact reasoning for the increase in errors/glitches as I agree in previous years the problems were minimal for the contests. We are planning to do a deeper dive into these issues and why they are becoming more frequent, if we find the specific reasoning for them I will let you know of this as well.

@dakotajhawk - no update as of yet but once I hear from anything on this I will post it here/let everyone know.

Hey Flynt, has anyone reported yet that the contest team experts links aren't working for the NHL and the NBA?

With the NHL, I have to do a weird workaround by going into the top consensus page, then click on the "In Depth - Details" link to get there?

Also, there's no consensus page for NBA?

Just checking in to see if the issues from the NCAAF October 24th games are close to fixed

NHL game from Oct 23rd still not graded or added to the records.

 Thanks for your effort. I also have no NHL results from Oct 23-25 though I made picks. I went 4-2-2 on 1 of those days.

Update on Pick Grading Issues

Hi everyone,

Our product team has resolved the pick grading issues that were affecting Streak Survivor, King of Covers, and Office Pool players across all leagues from October 22 to 25. Your records and streaks should now be accurate and up to date in these contests. 

If you notice that your record is still incorrect, please let us know the specific matchup and date that are missing.

 Still incorrect for me. October 24th games across our pool haven’t been graded. Specifically Syracuse-Pitt.

 NBA 10/24 3 picks made, went 2-1, they literally disappeared during the grading process. I'm positive I can't be the only one who experienced this.

 One of them was definitely the OKC/DEN Under.

 Actually I take that back, as I played the 2nd half under for money on the OKC/DEN game. I KNOW one was the Bos/Was Under. It's hard to recall when they aren't in your     picks  profile anymore.

 3 NBA games on 10/24 just plain MISSING:

 Bos/Was Under

 OKC/DEN Took OKC ats and Over.

 2-1

 Realized Over wasn't happening at half-time (and that's when I took the Under 2nd half on BookMaker )

to under 10k contest points within 6 hours

It looks like most of the issues with missed picks not being graded, which is really good news for all those who temporarily weren't credited with positive units.

I still have a couple of "lost" picks from NFL that haven't been graded as of yet. They are as follows:

Thursday, October 24th -

LA Rams +3 points over Minnesota
Minnesota/LA Rams Over 48

 I think everyone in NHL KoC are missing picks and results from 24th completely.
