At first blush, Miami has beat some solid teams and their loses were close games to good teams.  Wisconsin, on the other hand, has a record built on beating avg to bad Big 10 teams with no marque victories. And the game is in FL.  Seems like MIA wins by 10+, yet the line is only MIA -3.5 so why does Vegas think this is a close game?  If its the standard Big 10 is overrated by the public so the line is close I lean MIA, if it's because Wisc big line and plodding style match up with MIA lack of discipline, I lean WISC.

Need to think more about this game.  I do know MIA stud left tackle is out.

    Probably sitting this game out.

Even though this appears to be a home game for Miami, i believe that Wisky will have the crowd advantage with Miami's fans not being nearly as passionate as Wisky's and the fact that Wisky fans always love to come to these warm weather bowl games to get away from the Wisconsin winter.  There will be more Wisky fans than Hurricane fans at this one.  Also, Wisky got embarassed by FSU last year in their bowl game they will be more than motivated for this one.  Miami also has a bunch of injuries compared to Wisconsin who is very healthy, on paper this is a relatively even matchup which leads me to believe with the intangibles that Wisconsin brings to this game that i'm going with Wisconsin +3 1/2.

I was at the same bowl last year in orlando FSU vs. Wisconsin similar records coming in for both teams.

    Outcome 42-13 FSU.

Miami will do more of the same....too much talent, too much speed.  Wisconsin's secondary is awful and Passing is Miami's game....hop on that -4 people.

Miami has played tougher, more quality opponents... they also have the speed edge on off/def over Wisky... If Jacory can take care of the ball and make good decisions, I think he will,  the U wins by two touchdowns.

What conference has the worst record over the last three years running in BCS games?  Who lost to N'western??  Who got manhandled by the two best teams they played on their schedule???  What team is playing in a state that historically, when in a bowl game in their home state, they just stomp on people????

If you answer these questions......honestly.....it makes you feel very confident on who to pick tonight.  I like them in a romp!!  And it will be my largest bet of the night.

My thoughts exactly Irish.  I need a big win and this one is it.  Big Ten is mediocre at best.  Miami has better athletes and a desire to resurrect.  Big recruiting game as well for home town boys

I understand the CANE logic that speed kills, however I see this being more of a ball control game which means a lot of big man CLAY, and I also trust WIS. NOT TO MAKE STUPID MISTAKES. I can see jacory and the boys feeeling comfortable close to home and believing their own hype which will lead to overconfidence and mistakes.

Taking the speed and Defense of Miami to win/cover.

    Hurricanes

Also, like a teaser on Miami/Over

    Best to all.

Looking for some great offensive action in tonight's game... by both teams.

Wisconsin will move the ball on the ground... no question about that... Badgers rank #14 in NCAA rush attack at over 206 rush ypg.

Miami will move the ball through the air... too much speed and talent for Wisconsin DBs.

    Wisconsin/Miami (FL) OVER!!!
