I like the over

However if any conference in College Football could be accused of historically point-shaving it'd be the MAC.  For that reason, I think Toledo will somehow cover.

i made up my mind...NIU-4 ^43 on a dip.(-130) double juice for extra point

NIU(at home)...national audience....vs.Dantinless Toledo, are certainly going to want to shine.(-4 is a solid teaser). And they could fart and pull off over 43....I'M LOCKING IT IN

If you read the posts they're pretty evenly split between NIU and Toledo. When I see that I generally take the over and it has worked far more times than not. In this case, a strong case can be made for NIU and and perhaps to a lesser degree, a pretty good case for Toledo but the consensus seems to be that they can both score and 50 in a college game is more like 40 in the NFL even with the timing changes to shorten the game. Thus I like the over tonight.

Leaning on NIU in this one. Toledo is ranked 91st overall on offense but is supported by a pretty decent defense. On the otherhand NIU seems to be better balanced on both sides of the ball and is stronger on offense. Both teams played about the same calibur of teams and I feel this match up favors the home team.

I don't have my line yet but leaning on NIU in the first half in hopes that NIU comes out strong in this one.

this game will come down to TOP NI averages over 35 mins per game and control the ball and clock.  Toledo like to but I dont think the freshman will help here everyone is saying he did so well against emu most of his yards came from screens and dump offs with a ton of YAC from the receivers and backs.. NI can tackle wont happen here.. only other ex that can be given is the one like team they both played this yr WMU once again NI was able to dominate TOP where Toledo had to get 4 picks to win with only 27 mins in TOP with Dantin in the game..think this one goes NI winning by 14-20 and under the total as Toledo will have trouble sustaining drives with the young QB, other proble is the undersized D-line for toledo should allow for NI to run well and keep the clock on their side.  looks like 27-13 game

    LOL..I haven't given up brother it's just that with my new local I don't get totals on the weekday games so I couldn't play it even if I wanted too.

    You are right and they have been very nice to us for many seasons...maybe I need to be playing the total to make it work stronger or maybe just the oddsmakers finally got smart enough to lower the total

    This actually has the makings of a decent game. Whoever wins will be in position to contend for the mac title game. Toledo does not have  their qb who has acct for 8 rushing tds this year and some decent yards. That is big and they dont have a stellar rb. N Ill however has a great rusher in spann and their qb can scat around as well. Both defenses are middle of the road. I think running game of n ill too much. The total is close. 34-17 maybe. N ill and ov for the small! GL

    Isn't the goal here to try and make a little money? What's up with the hostility between fellow members? The last time I checked, we aren't competing against each other.  Unless it's one of the "free contests" on Covers. 

    However, one who is confident in their ability to make winning picks should be happy to see contradictory picks/info being tossed around.
