I certainly appreciate the info from others...especially when it comes to teams that I know nothing about the shared info is very important, useful and helpful for me. Sometimes all the hate in here just clutters all the useful info and just drives me crazy.

Lots of revenge here for the Huskies...Toledo has been playing conf. cupcakes the last few weeks and I think this Frosh Toledo QB might be in for a shock when he's not facing an Eastern Mich. Defense.  Agreeing with BigDaddy on NIU 1st. Half ..

  Career stats for Toledo QB Terrance Owens:
            24 - 41         397 yds.        5 TD

10 - 15     234 yds. and 4 TD's of that came last week at Eastern Michigan.

Eastern Michigan has given up the following point totals this year:  31, 28, 52, 73, 30, 52, 38, 48 and 42  ----------> 43.7 point per game average.

The Northern Illinois Huskie Defense @ home this season has given up:  17, 17, 14 and 7  --------------->  13.8 point per game average.

I just watched the Toledo post game press conference after their win at E.Michigan, and saw nothing that exudes confidence out of Owens .  I know he's just a redshirt freshman and a young kid , but I was hoping that I might see something that would lead me to believe that he believed he could go into Huskie Stadium and lead the Rockets to victory.  I didn't see it, and one 4 TD relief performance at EM doesn't make me a believer either.

I'm not much of an over/under player......but i'd be careful with that over unless you think NI can put up 40 on Toledo.  I'm going to put a small play on the under just for s#@t's and giggles.

@Josh - You are correct. The boy though deserves it.

As for the game? Toledo has only beat one team with a winning record and lost to a crappy Wyoming team. They won the last three against teams with a combined 8-20 mark. Yes, they are 6-3. Not an impressive 6-3. Owens is a question mark on how well he can play. Northern Illinois can run the ball well and is probably the best team in the MAC. They are a good ATS team at home this year and Toledo is   a good ATS road team, and has great ATS record against the Huskies. So tough call, but will go for the better team.

Local has the O/U at 51.5 now.  I don't know if I like it any higher than 51/52.  Too many score combos would be lost.  28-24, 31-21, 34-17, 38-14

I'm going to buy the 1/2 and go over 51 for my final play.

Not sure if W. Mich' is a good gauge...............

but Toledo beat them on their field by 13 and N.Ill just beat them by a TD last week

Early lean Toledo +11!.........not soley based on the previously stated stat!

Back-up QB better than the Starter

Fact is, neither of these teams have lost yet. 

And until one of them loses in conference, you cannot really judge one team as being better than the other.

I will take the 5-0 in conference team catching double digits.

Liking Northern Illinois minus the points tonight. Carefull NotW8, the two boyfriends might cry some. Amazing that people bitch about people bitching and then do exactly what they complain others do!

NIU is slightly better than Toldeo on offense.  Defensively, both seems to be the same, they give up a lot of yardage and points. So, upon further review, it is;

NIU -11.5 & over 51
