Phan.. you're leaning on Toledo knowing that Austin Dantin is not playing? He's the main factor in both Offensive passing and rushing. I thought the spread should be Toledo +14 at minimum.

Final Home game for the Huskies. Even though the Rockets play the Huskies tough in DeKalb,9-2 ats last 11. I don't see a letdown here for the Huskies as they move forward towards a conference championship.
Huskies - Over ?

I'll probably stay at home on this game. Rockets are also 5-0 in the MAC and have pulled off some big road wins; namely Ohio U, and Purdue. I dont want to bet against the rockets...so if I would do anything, it would be Toledo and the points.

I have to go with Northern Illnois on this. They won by at least 14pts for all home game. They covered the spread for last 7 games. Toledo has weaker offense and defense. No Illinoise with win by at least 2 TDs.

this should be a no play game as in no real value in it unless you hardcore follow on of these teams. other than its like betting whos going to poop first. If I wind up and go against my better judgement than I would take the over. other than that its a no play.

38-13 NIU, UT lost the centerpiece of the offense Dantin. NIU is the most balenced team by far in the MAC. Home game on ESPN is a huge motivator for the Huskies, gonna roll with the square play here.

This is probably the best post I have ever read.
On a different note, I am still going to wager as it makes my Tuesday night entertaining. I think N Illinois covers and the over
NIU 38 Toledo 24

I am Still going with Toledo even without their starting QB Austin Dantin. Terrence Owen fill in pretty nicely last week even though it was against a lowly E Michigan team. I feel like 11 pts is alot to give in this rivalry.
Toledo +11 Final play.. Leaning on the Over but no play ..

Austin Dantin accounts for over 50% of Toledo's total yards and has thrown or run for 15 of their 28 total touchdowns.
At first glance, his replacement Terrance Owens appears to be solid; however, the game against EMU has somewhat skewed his stats.
The half point at 10.5 scares me, and I'm not going to over analyze how Vegas may be setting the line low to encourage NIU backers, BUT, it does seem low to me all things considered.
For those of us who just can't pass up the opportunity to get our fix on a Tuesday, I'm taking OVER 50.

Toledo defeated Eastern Michigan 42-7, for their third straight victory and set up a showdown this week for first place in the MAC East. With Austin Dantin exiting the game early on with a shoulder injury, Terrance Owens stepped in with a rock solid afternoon, going 10 of 15 for 254 yards a four touchdowns. Not only was he able to manage the game in Dantin’s absence, he was productive but he can thank the ground game for their big helping hand with David Pasquale, Adonis Thomas and Morgan Williams combining for 170 of the Rockets 200 yards. Toledo was able to drive the field or hit the big play with 74, 68 and 53 yard pass plays to their credit.
Toledo’s defense gave up just 326 yards for their best performance to date. Eastern Michigan never established a ground game to control the ball and clock with a 33 carry, 100 yard day and when forced to the air Alex Gillette and Devontae Payne were little more than 50% passers (21-39 226) that were forced to drive the field. The Rockets defense has gotten a helping hand from their offense which has broken the 30 point barrier during their win streak to help out a unit which is not shutdown.
Northern Illinois defeated Western Michigan 28-21 for their sixth consecutive victory behind a bruising running game. Although the Huskies are best known for their ability to run the ball, Chandler Harnish displayed some throwing ability, going 18 of 30 for 214 yards, a pair of scores and an interception. Not to be outdone was their always productive rushing attack which was a one man show with Chad Spann logging 143 yards on 22 carries to led four others to a 210 yard day. As effective as they were at moving the chains, they needed a 29 yard scoring toss from Harnish to Willie Clark toss with under four minutes remaining to get the win.
NIU proved they have more than a running game as this team has played just as well on the defensive side of the ball, however, the Broncos did have plenty of success throwing on them as Alex Carder went 31 of 53 for 360 yards and three scores with their saving grace being two interceptions. They couldn’t stop the game of catch between Carder and Jordan White (14-180) who was the one receiver who stretched the field on them.
Toledo has played well except in lopsided losses to Arizona and Boise State in which they were defeated by a combined 98-16 so their overall numbers have been skewered. Northern Illinois was manhandled in their opener at Iowa State but have built a solid resume’ since and are in fact one of the more balanced teams in the MAC. The Rockets are not as balanced and have their back up QB at the helm but are no slouch either as the winner of this game could end up as the top dog in the conference…
