NC State will be after revenge following the embarrassing loss last year. Their QB got better as the year went along. Garcia at QB for SC has been a head case, and they lost TE Cook and their best WR to the NFL. Add to that the loss of their two best defensive players to the NFL and I just don't see SC being much of a threat this season. There are better games to bet, but this is the Thursday night opener so I will probably study it some more and make a small play. .

I believe the best play is the Under here......Both teams lost key weapons on the outside last year......we know Garcia isn't the answer at QB for the Cocks......South Carolina will have a top 25 defense because they always do!! Last year's game was uglier than the score suggested and still stayed under the number. This game, being the first one for both teams won't be much more well executed with some of the newbies on the field for the first time.Just take the low in this game.........but I wouldn't be surprised if SC wins a tight one or stays within the chalk.

Another SEC non conference dog, I am on SC. As you can tell I am an SEC fan though, so take it with a grain of salt. There is no telling how this matchup will turn out. To me it all comes down to how well Garcia plays at QB for SC, we know they have the defensive front to keep it close, but if he blows then SC goes down.

Fans will be going crazy on ESPN for the home opener, which is just another reason to swing the way of the Pack.

remember ncsu was a puppy everygame last year, a direct effect on the fancy 10-2 ATS ledger, team may be better this year, as far as covering the number,,may have to put the pack on fade alert

was greatly inconsistent. The offensive line returns four players with
starting experience, but that's not saying much as they had one of the
worst O-Lines in the SEC last season.
N.C. State: First-year
freshman Russell Wilson was named a first-team ACC player and returns
to lead an improving offense. Wilson has shown great decision making,
as indicated by his 17 TD's to 1 INT. He has a special blend of running
ability and passing ability and is the key to the rise of the Wolfpack
this season. The offensive line while not spectacular has shown
improvement over the last season and should be much improved over the
off-season. The defense returns much of the front seven which did a
great job against the run. If they can improve their pass rush, they
should do an even better job. They'll need to be improved as they loss

about two teams headed in the opposite direction. South Carolina
has always been expected before the season to be on the cusp of greatness in the SEC. N.C.
State hasn't seen much good times since the departure of Philip Rivers.
I think that in this game, the most important factor will be the play
of the N.C. State secondary. If they can limit the big plays on
offense, their front seven will be able to stop the run. South Carolina
has much more bigger holes on their offense and defense, which Wilson
should be able to take advantage of. If Wilson plays like he did last
season, they should be able to pull off the victory."
Adding on: I believe that alot of this line has to do with SC being in the SEC. Vegas is setting up an SEC underdog against an ACC favorite, hoping for a heavy play on the SEC team. Thats my "between the lines" insight..

very even teams. spurriers offense cant move the ball in practice. therefore they cant move the ball v/s nc st and vice versa. ugly game will be won by a big play or a turnover. i like the home team, but give me the under in this 13-6 snoozer.
