A game that is close enough at 3 points that you feel it is too tough to bet, but you had rather watch Survivor? Really? LOL I may or not bet it, but I dare anyone to touch my TV remote when a great college game is scheduled (and if you watch Survivor, I doubt you would be in my house anyway. LMAO

The intangibles definitely favor going with Cocky...
1st...The reason so many home dogs cover on Thursday nights is because a short week of preparation combined with a long road trip to a hostile environment is a recipe for disaster. Plus, the home team and home fans are always sky high for these games since they're on national TV and have a chance to "shock the world".
2nd....These are exactly the types of games that illustrate why fans wanted to run Houston Nutt out of Fayetteville. He always motivates his teams to play like an NFL team for big time opponents, but they always look like s**t against teams that they are supposed to blow out. And SC....they're a team that Ole Miss is supposed to blow out.
3rd...Another Houston Nutt factor is that, if you review his 10 year career at Ark and his 1st year in Oxford, his teams always play better when no one expects them to be good. His teams that are supposed to be good never really measure up to the hype that they receive. Take last year...no one took them seriously and they weren't expected to do much coming off of an 0-8 SEC record so they were able to sneak up on a lot of teams. Now they have a big fat bulls eye on their back that's bringing a lot of pressure with it. Houston Nutt has always folded under pressure.
4th....Of course Ole Miss is the way more talented team. But they were more talented last year too when SC beat them in Oxford. The only thing that's really changed this year is that SC's offense seems to be a lot better. Also, USC was the FAR FAR MORE TALENTED TEAM against Oregon St last year on Thursday night and look what happened. If betting was as easy as going with the more talented team, we'd all be millionaires.
5th...I actually live in the Memphis area and I was at the Ole Miss Memphis game. Ole Miss looked like crap for 3 1/2 quarters against a team that turned around and got smoked by Middle Tennessee the next week. Don't let that big final score fool you. They scored 2 touchdowns in garbage time to blow that thing out but it was 17-7 t0 the end of the 3rd quarter. And if you know anything about Memphis football, their QB at the time Arkelon Hall, who is one of the worst QBs in all of college FB, threw a pick 6 right before half. Otherwise it would've been 10-7. And that pick 6 was not a "great play". The DB just stood right there and Arkelon threw it right to him...any of us could've made that pick 6.
Ole Miss def has the talent to win this by more than 3 but youwould be a fool to bet them. The play is either SC or maybe the over or no play at all.

Bro, how many times have you seen SC lose to a better or worse team???
Memphis isnt a bad team by any means, and A.Hall is actually a good QB, and Memphis has a good defense... for a team to score 4 TD's in a 4rth quarter is not unheard of, its sometimes how a team covers...They covered the First Half on a pick/six, I know, but Ole Miss has a Great defense and that's there identity.
This game is going to be close, Hence the -3 Line...No one s predicting a Blow Out... This is basically a coin flip...
And you cant really compare USC/Or State to this...That was a 20+ Line, and everyone in the world was betting USC...

I think the COCKS getting points at home is a steal. Miss. played three stiffs to get their 3-0 record. COCKS are game tested with a good game against Georgia last weeks game was a walk over for the COCKS. Looking for a high scoring game my predicted final is
S.Carolina 31.....OL' Miss. 27.
Good Luck to All!!!

truly a tough call....home dogs do usually prevail but i think the ol ball coach is out of gas....this is ole miss's first time to prove themselves whereas SC is just playing the spoiler. i don't see garcia doing well against a good secondary nor in a primetime game on a thursday night. he won't complete over 50% of his passes. the SC defense however will showup with emotion and give ole miss a test in the first half. i think SC is a good play in the first half but SC's emotion will run out at the end of the 3rd qtr and ole miss covers after wearing them down on the ground. Snead will throw 2 td passes just off of playaction for ole miss to win 31-21. it'll be an SEC brawl until the last 10 min. this is a tough game to call but i think SC will struggle physically. GL to all...........

She looks a little chunky, therefore I bet she gives a great BJ. Tell her to give me pm next time she's near Chattanooga
That might be the funniest shit I've ever read on here considering almost all of us were thinking the same thing. Pretty generous calling her "chunky."

Not knowing a whole lot about what going on in the south my first I think I'll take the dog and the points. thats the way it usually goes on Thursdays and plus its Ole miss's first tough game. I'll take the points small play

My initial lean was Mississippi but taking a second look SC has faced much tougher competition this season. Both teams look good, but SC looks good against quality opponents and Mississippi has one big in games it should be winning big. With SC being the home team on top of that I think the value is with the home dog tomorrow night.
SC +3.5

Did you just say that Memphis is a good team? The same team that struggles to go 6-6 every year just to make a mediocre bowl? Wow!!! Uhhhhh, and in case you haven't checked, Arkelon Hall is so "good" as you say, that he has been replaced by the backup QB Tyler Bass. Tommy West finally pulled the plug on Hall after Arkelon stunk it up again in Murfreesboro. I'll give you that Memphis has a decent defense. They just got worn down in the 4th Qtr because they were on the field so much and because they don't have quality depth. But Ole MIss could only muster 10 offensive points through the first 3 Qtrs and Ole Miss's second coming of the messiah, Jevan Snead, threw 2 picks himself. Jevan has a little too much Tony Romo in him. He's waaaay too inconsistent. He looks like Tom Brady one minute and the next, he looks like Vince Young throwing the ball.

University South Carolina wins this game and sends ol miss back to reality......and if they are saving plays to surprise people....they should've practiced hard against prior foe, not a good time to try stuff in game speed vs sec......I will wait for line movement for the best value bet this game...
COCKS!!!
