Took the Wild Rebels -3, wanted to lock the line in before it moves to -7 or worse.

I don't like this game.......this type of game is the definition of gambling......either team is capable of beating the other on any given day.  Miss is the better team, no doubt.  But SC has the ability to play lock down defense, especially at home.  Throw in a short week for both teams and both coming off cupcake cover games.......I'll lay off this one and watch the second week of Survivor.

I'm on Ole Miss here despite the obvious play on the Thurs night home dog.  This time it's man bites dog.  Got 2 units on Miss -3 before it goes higher, which it surely will.

  Ole Miss. has lost their SEC season opener 5 consecutive years and is 2-14 the last 16 SEC openers.  But Ole Miss. is 5-1 the last 6 against South Carolina in this series.  Like my friend Irish said, this one is a tough one, hard to find an edge either way.  But looking at the trend, South Caroliina being at home, and the fact that they have played 2 decent opponents I'm siding with South Carolina.  But only a Small Play.  Still waiting on the over/under total.  South Carolina +3  Sharp

As soon as people start bad mouthing USC, they usually muscle up and surprise people.  Its when people start jumping on the bandwagon that they then take a dump.  I like the Cocks.  Ol' Miss has the look of a team with a lot of pressure on them due to expectations (thanks to beating T Tech) and I don't think they will respond well in their first real test.

no one has mentioned that sc beat ole miss last year. ole miss also lost to vandy. then p-jerry went pro, as well as another big ass d lineman. vegas might be on to something here. also, as much as everyone hates spurrier he is a better coach than nutt especially in game. i'm still not sure because miss does have a lot better qb and better players overall, but this one is going to be good to watch. if anything i would take sc, going small though.
