no, sports are not rigged.  games years apart are perhaps swayed by particular players toward a side or total, but there are too many people that would have to be in on a league wide fix for it not to be found out.  I agree with jlayne too, even if you think you've got the fix in, too many variables can happen for it to be a certainty.

Obviously, I don't know this for sure, but it seems very unlikely.

Now about the game i'm leaning toward ohio and this is why they  are ranked 98 in total offense and 53 in total defense. bgreen is offense is ranked 110 total and on defense ranked 98 so i'm going with the defense of ohio to cover this game and maybe push it over. also on the qb side makes ohio defense stand out to me that much better.  hope this help

I did a little googling on this subject and amazingly there are too many posts that discussed about this.  I sure hope that it is not rigged but I do believe BOXING is a sport that rigged.  I stopped watching boxing since for 10 yrs because it was so obvious.  Sadly, it was my favorite sport.

Well I hate to go chalk and over since that's what the general public usually does but a primetime mid-week game b/w 2 non AQ schools usually yields lots of points.

I think the play here is MIA OH + OVER but wouldnt be surprised to see BG pull off the upset.

Seems like Ohio wins every other game and now they're due for a loss so on that rather convoluted logic I'll take BG on the money line tonight.

I guess it is strictly a judgement call on this game and my better judgement is leaning towards Miami.

I would like to thank everyone though for the loads of input on this game. It helps a NEWB like me with making up my mind at times

I just play the line movements  only. the hell with capping the game, I got better winning % this way. Tonight the line movements tell me the sharp money is on BG.  73% public on Mia and the line moves down to 2.5 find a line  at -3 and pound on BG tonight People!!!!
