...Stafford was the #1 HS QB two years ago and is capable of lighting it up as well. The offense is too balanced for him to put up big stats, but he can throw passes few others can. Big arm and is projected a first round draft pick in 1-2 years.
Stafford was "annointed" by the same pompous idiot (Mel Kiper jr.) who proclaimed Hawaii "a 'cupcake' defense" and "not physical enough". Kiper also does not recognize Colt Brennan as a top QB prospect and has said, "I'll be surprised if Georgia doesn't score at least 50 points against Hawaii". He sounds like a few of the Georgia backers on this forum.
Well, Michigan was humiliated by Appalachian State and defending National Champion Florida (SEC) just lost to Michigan. The mighty Georgia Bulldogs should whip up easily on the Hawaii Warriors, a WAC team with a "cupcake defense". But that's why they play the game.

Actually the only solid point I feel the Hawaii backers are right about is the ability of Hawaii to score on anyone. The offense is very unique, and not many teams face a scheme like that.
Georgia will be the best defense they have faced, by far, but the weakest part of the UGA defense is defending the short pass. They play a loose cover zone which allows a team to move the ball between the 20's if they are patient, and can throw accurately. Brennan is very accurate (70+% completion rate), and throws with a short drop which will negate the Georgia pass rush. As I said before, give them 4 TDs, but that will not be enough.
The key to betting this game will be the amount of points UGA will put up on Hawaii. They just have too many weapons. When you put up 45 on Auburn's defense, you should do at least that on Hawaii. And that brings up the over/under. I went over because of what I just stated, but if you are right, and Hawaii cannot make the plays, or their drives stall, the under would be the correct play because Georgia will run the ball and grind out the clock. I expect Georgia to break a few long gains too. Their running backs are very good, and ttheir receivers block down field. Good luck tonight!

I went from betting hawaii, to laying off, and now I'm back on hawaii. I'll play Hawaii for 1 unit, and i'm thinking about the total.
