Good post. If you are right about the motivation factor, you could be right. I have no doubt Hawaii will be motivated to the max. Biggest game in school history, and wanting to be recognized (and rightly so), for an undefeated season. I agree about the schedule not being their fault, but it is a factor anyone would be foolish to not consider.
I spoke to someone today who gave some insight into UGA's mindsight. (He is in Nawlins and is friends with one of the players'dad.) They said the team was very focused and determined to use this game as a launch for next season when they feel they can start in the upper part off the Top 5. Probably right, especially with Florida struggling today. He also said the coaches have reminded them of what happened when they took WVU for granted in the Sugar Bowl two years ago. This is all to say I feel both teams will be highly motivated, and that factor may be a wash. Sometimes being too jacked up can lead to turnovers/penalties early in the game.....we will have to see.
I am staying with my 10 unit play on Georgia -8, and adding a 3 unit play on the over. BTW, this factors in the acclaim you give Colt Brennan and those receivers. The short, quick throws are the way to go against UGA. I accept they will have success, but just cannot see how Hawaii can stop the Dawgs' offense. Don't forget in addition to the running game, Stafford was the #1 HS QB two years ago and is capable of lighting it up as well. The offense is too balanced for him to put up big stats, but he can throw passes few others can. Big arm and is projected a first round draft pick in 1-2 years.

That was exactly my point above. Give Hawaii their points, they are going to score, maybe not to their average, but near thirty or so. It is the UGA offense against the Hawaii defense that will decide the game in Georgia's favor. Very balanced, deep at all positions, and a much bigger, more athletic front. Watch the Georgia fullback tonight, he is a monster blocker, good receiver, and tough in short yardage. It is the number of weapons that will have UGA scoring 42+ and covering the spread.
