Maui, I know you are hurting today. I think we al wish it had been a better game, and that Colt had gone out on a happier note. He didn't get a chance to showcase his talents due to a poor plan on keeping someone in to help with blocking. I cannot imagine how they could have reviewed film (six sacks against Tebow) and not realized there would be too much pressure to allow the routes to develop without a plan. It allowed the backers to close quickly on the receivers and limit yards after catch.
I expected Hawaii to be able to sustain a few drives, although I didn't think it would be via long to intermediate passes. That caused me to miss on the over as UGA also limited their offense to burn clock. Fortunately, my bet on the game was much bigger than the over. CB is better than we saw last night, but Peyton couldn't have succeeded with that limited time. Hang in there, and win that money back. Good luck.

Congrats to the Bulldog backers.

Ah....come on...big Blue 4 ever....you spend more time on this thread than us homers....
I don't know how many of you are gonna read this thread so long after the game....but I blame June Jones.
I'm not gonna call for a firing like the BCS schools do. We don't (or can't) change hats that easily out here in the sticks.
Coach cares for his players. He is a mentor for the kids. A little machievillian gamesmanship might have been good in this game.
Lot's of blow-outs this bowl season. Hawaii does not have the exclusive on this....for those of you who think we didn't belong in the big show...
Ummm...yeah...that's about it.
aloha.
Maui, I checked just to see if you got my "olive branch". I agree with you about Jones, he is the right guy for the program and amking a change would be a mistake, imo. His gameplan was questionable as I noted above, but the outcome would not likely have changed, only been a better show.
I noticed you have changed your avatar. Convert? LOL

Convert? No boo boo. I made a side bet with some of the UGA homers. Now I gotta wear the cloak of shame and walk the long walk through the gauntlet.
Early on, a bunch of our guys were playing like deer with their gaze caught in the headlights. In hindsight, it might have been better to pull some of the starters to shake 'em up a little.
My biggest compliment for Georgia is the defense. Damn. Our D did pretty well considering they had to carry the whole game.

Just kidding about the conversion. You are an honorable person to pay off your debts in a public manner. Good luck to hawaii next year. That opener against Florida will be tough, especially after June Jones called Tebow out (in a way.) They will be in an ugly mood. The back up QB, Graunke, looked pretty good in relief. of CB. I don't what the Warriors have back as a supporting cast, but Florida was pretty young this year. They will not have Georgia's defense, but tebow is a load. Take care, and good luck.
