thanks.  unfortunately I am locked in to legends since they pay me in cash here :)  but I fully expect them to come off of 3.5 by game time since FSU is a very public play and they will want the public to lay the extra 1/2 pt.

public is absolutely pounding FSU.

Todays bets are 78% FSU 22% NC State

This line has climbed to 4 everywhere and I expect it to keep going to atleast 4.5 or 5. 

NC State backers, hold out for the points.   They will most likely be coming by gametime

I think that both teams will be able to move the ball at will on the other. The 3 things I see that give FSU the advantage are:

1) NC St's special teams aren't very good. They only average about 37 yards a punt and that could be a huge problem when you're kicking to one of the best returners in the nation in Greg Reid.

2) FSU's ability to get pressure on Wilson. FSU leads the nation in sacks and NC St is 85th in sacks allowed.

3) FSU is playing to potentially wrap up the ACC Atlantic Division. They're currently 4-0 in conference while NC St is tied with Maryland in 2nd at 2-1. That's not to say that NC ST isn't playing for anything because they still have a shot at it but FSU could basically write their own ticket to the ACC Championship Game with a win tonight.

No analysis needed.  NC State all the way.  Thursday night dogs seem to be the play.  Why fight it?

N.C. State is also 12-5-1 ATS in the last 18 games as an underdog.

The FSU/BC game has been bugging me, so I checked the stats. FSU had 4 turnovers (3 interceptions and a fumble).

Ponder went 19/31 for 170 of their 311 total yards to BCs 269 total yards.

BC had 4 field goals - 33,37,28 and 38 with 1 touchdown -- which was a 40+ yard pass interception.

I guess my point is if Ponder still has a bad arm FSU is in deep dodo. Hoping the rest was adequate for him. Going with the betting herd, small. Over, based on Ponder's arm.

I have enjoyed reading the threads. Hope his has been helpful.

BTW I was at the UM/FSU game... and I'm not 100% sure that FSU played well or it was more like UM played bad...  

The UM game is really the only quality win FSU has... and don't forget the butt kicking they received on the road in Norman!

I like nc state at home early in the first half but i think that they will fall off. Im thinking maybe 21-14 fsu at half. I like the over but not sure what to play. off topic: My play of the week is Uconn getting 6.5.

i like UConn as well but if we wait I expect to get a full td by gametime.

Public will go huge on WV and books will compensate to make them give up the full td.

I definitely agree..the only thing that scares me (what has happened in the past when uconn doesnt play sat games is that they win/cover)

I'm with Sharp on the over also......Wilson will sling the rock around.  FSU blew their wad at Miami.  We won't see them look that good again this year.  Too many morons on the team.....team is too young in too many spots and Ponder is totally over rated!!!  I'll have even amounts on NC st and the over and then hook them together for a little something extra.  I feel very comfortable taking a double shot here with a small hook.  Could be a very nice cash........but I don't think both of those picks lose to hit you too hard.........1-1 at worst!!  I'll absorb a small lose taking a shot at a big win tonight.
