I agree with Cover, Oregon St better coach, better conference, better team. 5-0 in bowl games the Beavers are the play. Both teams scoring and giving up points down the stretch the over looks good as well. Hawkeye keep it up! All intelligent info and insight  is welcome. GLTA

Cougers win with defense and a few athletes of their own. Also, when OSU has played anybody worth a damn they got beat.

Anyone in vegas know how bad the weather will be? I understand some wind and possible rain, Or how bad the wind affects the stadium?

Mormons, Mormons...I screwed up and took them at 2.5, and now they are at 3, so I added some more to the play...BYU was not good at all last year in this bowl, and QB Hall will go out a winner (or at least keep it within 3 here) - OSU has skill positions and speed, but they got beat by every good team they have played this year, and I expect it to continue here...BYU defense will be up the challenge of containing (somewhat) Quizz and company

Interestingly, NCAA's SOS (Strength of Schedule) has BYU at 17 and OSU at 18. Problem is, BYU got creamed by TCU and Florida State,
while OSU got creamed by no one--other than a 10-point loss to Cincinnati if you consider than a thrashing.

Meanwhile, the Beavers played the likes of Oregon, Stanford, USC, UCLA and Arizona.  I think the nod has to go Oregon State even though they lost a couple more than BYU.

BYU med lg and over med. If i explained why we would all be much dummber. First lean was OSU but I believe Vegas is pulling for byu with this line.

I keep hearing people say OSU has lost to every good team they've played this year.  While that is somewhat true if you go by the rankings, they had wins over Stanford with Heisman canidate toby gerhart, as well as wins at Arizona State, and California.  Notice how even their losses, none were blow outs, they can put points on the board simple.  BYU has big problems however; close games with OU, San Diego St, and New Mexico show they are suspect to inconsistency.  The games against FSU and TCU show that the recruiting levels do make a huge difference.  BYU somehow got confused with FSU's defense; how they fare against an OSU defense and offense is a different level.

I got BYU from a local at +4.....so I went with it......GL everyone......small parlay on the under(59) with it also.

Dang....I got that backwards.....took 2 units on the under 59.....small parlay on BYU and the under.....I have been doing that all over the web for the last 1/2 hour!!! Too much vacation gin!!!!

This is like taking candy from a baby! It looks like in size comparison OSU is a pro team compared to some BYU highschool team. . .  Not so college sharp are we! C'mon guys you could not see this coming? Experience baby! Hence, OSU rolls. . .
