You cannot bet against BSU in these games when BSU is on TV. Boise State will try to impress the nation. Knowing that they have a very long way to go to get into the BCS National Championship game, I assume that BSU will try to score at will. We all know that when it comes to votes at the end, voters look at the point differential over opponents. So by that mindset, would you not think a little higher of Boise State if they went to Tulsa and pulled out a 54-20 victory. I am going with Boise State and then a seperate bet on BSU and the over. I think Boise might score enough to cover the over by themselves.

I agree.. but the question you have to ask is why is Boise only laying 9.5? I figured they would be laying closer to 14 at least. The line makes no sense. If it was that obvious, we would all be millionaires and the Vegas strip would look like bombed out Beirut!
If it looks too good to be true, it usually is.

On the other side, Vegas has us all wondering why the line is so small. That has a lot of people overthinking their bets and taking Tulsa. Vegas knows BSU will cover and they will lose. Therefore, Vegas has given a questionable line in hopes bettors will overthink this and play Tulsa. If more people overthink this and bet on Tulsa, Vegas makes the loss to BSU bettors not hurt as much.

I feel the same way my friend. Instead of making the line too high they make you think twice. The books are in your head! They will use any tactic they can to balance the books and sway betting.

I tried calling everyone in the Boise St. atheletic directors office to get info...but they all are playing dumb and telling me I have to talk to a Mr. Corbet who is, of course, at the game in Tulsa. I am waiting for the boiseter to answer this question before I hit Sam's Town. I personally have never lost a nickel betting Boise St., because I just lay off of the iffy ones. Every fiber in my being tells me that Boise St. will not only cover, but cover easily by a touchdown or more over the spread...

I don't think I follow you guys. If they wanted even action, they would have opened the line somewhere around 14, not 9.5 where it opened at most shops. Opening the line at -9.5 has expectededly put 70+% on Boise St.
With numbers on one side that high, I will side with Vegas every time.

The line isnt that small...9.5 points is a lot to lay to any team, especially a team like Tulsa, who is at home, and covers against lesser teams...
Im betting Boise Tonight, I truly think they are on another level from Tulsa...I am thinking the under...
Someone help me out here...Ussually when Boise plays a respectable team, not like Fresno State or Bowling Green (No Disrespect) Boise will win, but I am thinking the final on this one is going to be along the lines of 31-17 or 34-16...My point is, I think Boise's Defense is going to make the difference just like they did in the Oregon game, and this one goes under....
Any thoughts?

GOOD LUCK TO U ALL, CAN SOMEBODY HELP , I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THOUGHTS FOR NBA PRESEASON
bet against Golden Showers all year, the players dont even want to play for the team.
the game tonight: Boise has great offense and really good defense. Tulsa has deccent offense, but not like Boise. Why isnt this spread 14? I dont know. Too much love for one team here, telling me to take Tulsa or stay away. I'm off this game, I dont know why, at Boise, Boise by 21, at Tulsa, I dont know. If I had a gun to my head I would have to side with Boise however.
Good luck, save money for So Florida and Pitt

I think it will go over due to the fact that Boise State will score a bunch of points and by doing so BSU will relax and sit back at times allowing a couple of junk tds by Tulsa. Lets just say if Tulsa scores 10 points on their own and added 2 junk tds after bsu is up big that gives them 24 points. That means BSU would have to be held to 30 to lose the over. Boise will score 35+
Boise and the over is money in the bank.

Boise State is a top tier team that hasn't gotten the respect that they deserve because they are in the WAC!! They are in the same category as OKLAHOMA and Oklahome spanked Tulsa 45-0 and they didn't even have Sam Bradford...
you are completely right...Boise St is in a different class then Tulsa...and this line will be at -10 at gametime...which is a big line...GoodLuck bro!!

Also,Tulsa only put up 27 points on RICE,no way I bet Tulsa in this game unless the flu thing has half the team not playing, but it looks like we wont get that info from the Boise guy.
