alabama: georgia stinks...no imagination....think head coaches here.  Alabama has the edge and the points...take the points and load up on texas over arkansas....take arkansas state over u of memphis...jump on ball state ,southern cal, mississippi and the points over florida...(ole miss gets the pep talk from barack on friday)

this Georgia team is one of the most talented I have ever watched.  They run the ball, they can throw the ball, but most of all, their DEFENSE is what is really impressive.  I know Alabama is having a good year, but they really havent played anybody near UGAs talent yet.  This is really going to give them a reality check.  This will be a good game.  But in the end UGA will run away with it and BAMA wont stand a chance... UGA WINS BY ATLEAST TWO POSSESSIONS

i see no way how you think UGA SHOULD HAVE LOST against SC.  SC wasn't ever threatening to take the LEAD in that game.  UGA Defense is too much for any other conference to handle!

I am a SEC fan through and through. Don't understand why everyone is not giving Bama a chance? This is a Bama team that opened the season playing a top 10 Clemson team. They beat them pretty good on both sides of the ball. Clemson also has 2 of the best running back tandems that were shut out.   I like both but with Georgia being ranked 1 and now 3, sorry i dont see it.  I think Bama will give them all they want if not win it out right. Of course i could be wrong (as i have before) but just not sold.
 
I understand Clemson was overrated but Georgia hasnt exactly pitched shutouts.This game win would put Georgia on top or shoot Bama in the top 5 along with LSU & Florida.  Either way, SEC still on top. GL All.

IMHO What happend to USC last night just pumped up these Bulldogs even more.

These two teams are so fucking close it is maddening.  To be honest, I wouldn't bet this either way because there is no telling what is going to happen in Athens tomorrow night.  UGA could score right out of the gate and light it up with Green down field.  Then again, Bama's D could be in Stafford's face from jumpstreet.  I really don't think UGA's D will have too much trouble with Bama.  I'm just not sure UGA will put many points on the board.  Really, this thing could end up 7-3 or 37-14.  My heart says the Dawgs win SU and ATS, but my money is going elsewhere.

IMHO Georgia in this match up is the better balanced team. Georgia has opened up the passing game this season with Stafford which opens up the running game for knowshon.

Bama is in it's 2nd straight road conference game and Georgia has a bye week next week. I feel that Georgia is in the perfect spot right now coming into a big game giving 110% just before a weeks rest.

I decided to just go with 2 plays in this game....

Under 22 in the first half

To anyone who thinks the blackout factor won't matter, think again.  They'e saying it is the toughest ticket in the history of the stadium.  The crowd is going to be a factor.  If this Alabama team gets jumped on early, I don't think they will react too well.  They might get down on themselves.  Georgia is a confident team and probably more confident after USC's debacle (building on what bigdaddy mentioned).  I think Alabama will get completely overwhelmed in this game and the biggest question is whether or not they can bounce back to put together a good season.  Betting on John Parker Wilson in this kind of environment is suspect to me.  Georgia 31   Alabama 10

l on both lines for Georgia.  They can control the GA ground game and have enough speed and size to put consistent pressure on Stafford, who I have never been impressed with.  I took the points, Bama can win this straight up.  GLTA and have a proftable weekend through Monday.

BD gave a much more objective and accurate endorsement for Georgia in this one, rather than mmanojej and his RA RA Georgia analysis...
 
Black out means nothing... what does mean something is the energy of the crowd for this game...
 
this game looks phenomenal in terms of the matchups... i think this is one of the biggest games of the year... i have Bama at (+7.5) but i expect Georgia to have their A game, so its gonna be a tough one for the Tide to win...
 
still, to disregard arguably the best coach in college football "is suspect to me"... as someone once said...
