That seems pretty contradictory.  The blackout adds to the energy of the game.  I'm not talking about the color of the jerseys.  It's bigger than that.  I'm talking about the energy of the fans, excited enough to all wear black for the game.

Also, I don't think Bama is a legit passing offense.  John Parker Wilson hasn't proved much or even suggested much to imagine in his time at Alabama.  Georgia is the nation's second ranked rush defense giving up less than 45 yards per game.  I don't know what Alabama is going to do to score.

All I'm saying is let's not get too excited about Alabama just yet.  Let's give Saban more than 17 games before we expect too much from them.  And as for my comment about Bama having a good season:  I am just referring to them throwing in the towel after a tough loss to LSU last year

Both teams have excellent defenses, and are pretty much a push there.  Georgia has a clear advantage at all the skill positions (QB, RB, and WRs) and that will be the difference, along with a home crowd that will be jacked for one of the biggest games ever played in Athens.  I can see those who see a close matchup, but they are missing the Matt Stafford/John Parker Wilson edge that is huge for UGA.  The only huge edge Alabama enjoys is the return game on punts and kickoffs.  Bama has a slight edge at OL, but the Georgia front 7 pretty much negates that.  I think UGA will cover and win by 10-17 so I am making a one unit play on Georgia but making a three unit play on the UNDER because of the defenses involved.

CRUSHFEST TONIGHT NIGGAZ!!!  I do not care if this seems like a "public type" play.  The Bulldogs will be fired up to take that #1 spot and ready to pounce all over Sabans overrated but still very good team.  Beware of the black jersey's tonight.  Lay the chalk here folks.  Don't be stupid.

Alright boys, the value is with the under in this game. No heavy duty write up, but I know these two teams know each other very well, and because of that, this game will end with a score like 17-13.

I answered you on another thread but at the half means 1st half or front. I normally would say final if it's at the back.

Although I have 2nd half lines at halftime I rarely play them.

I couldn't agree more.I dont believe GA is capable of blowing anyone out. They are riding last years season. They are running out of gas in GA and this will apply to the football team as well. I am taking Bama - 6.5 and a little on the money line.

Florida upset is VERY big for UGA in the East, and will increase their intensity.  Also, the Clemson loss to Maryland further shows Bama's win in Game 1 wasn't as impressive as originally thought.  They may have been rated Top 10 preseason, but they will fall out of the Top 25.
 
 Willl up my play on UGA  to equal my bet on the UNDER in this game.  Three units on UGA -6.5, and three on the Under.  Good defenses will still keep the scoring low, but UGA has more weapons to contain with their balance.

I've been thinking bama all week, thinking that the Dogs are just a hair better than the bama and it should be a real close game.  I live less than an hour from Athens, and on the main highway into Athens there were horns beeping and fans dawning black as early as 6:00am this morning. I also see two people that know their stuf riding on the bulldawgs (BigD, Maclover)...I'll go with ya boys...

Bama will not only cover they will win. This team is the sleeper of the year. i said it week one and have not seen anything to the contrary. This is going to be a drop down UGLY game in the trenches. ROLL TIDE . Ditty read your thead. You are real good at NCAA but why are you rolling with the Dawgs. Ditty makes a rare but fatal misatke. Bama ML and points BANK IT!!

Georgia seems to have the better team but Saban is by far the better coach. I don't really read much into those black jerseys but it may bring enough intensity for a first half cover( Big Daddy)

The only thing that I'm worried about in this one is the offensive line for Georgia. Bama's got some "BIG UGLIES" up front on defense.
 
Anyway decided to invest more in this game on the 1st half play and made this a HUGE play for me
