added 3 late games that I did not have time to write up but in summary, UTEP QB Trevor Vittatone (8 TDs 1 INT) will pick Memphis' 102 ranked passing defense apart all night, Oregon's #1 Defense and #1 offense in the country are gonna explode against an Arizona St team who has played Portland St, Northern Arizona, and lost to a bad Wisconsin team last week which in that game gave up 440 yards in total offense along with committing 8 penalties.  The Beavers HUGE here!  Good luck everyone in week 4!

Alot of unexpected losses and underperformers as I brouse the College Football forum and hear all the Texas, Oklahoma, Penn St, Alabama, and Georgia backers.  It has been an up and down day for myself also winning only 1 of my 2 big plays and so far going 6-7 on the day.  Looking to end in the positive tonight

Tennessee up 23-7 at halftime then going scoreless in the entire 2nd half. 

Miami OH lost by 38 points but had only 6 fewer 1st downs and had the ball for over 10 minutes more than missouri. 

Air Force did exactly what I thought in this game except for cover the spread.  They had 27 1st downs compared to Wyoming 12 1st downs.  They had 440 total yards compared to wyomings 240 and they dominated the time of possession 35 min compared to wyoming 24 min. 

Purdue, just a bad pick and a worse team than expected.

This was a week to forget for most as 7 out of the top 12 teams did not cover (alabama, Boise St, TCU, Oregon, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas) A few bad picks ( purdue, indiana and Iowa) and a few bad breaks ( xtra point missed by TCU kicker to lose the bet by 1 pt, Oregon scoring 14 points in each of the 1st 3 quarters then held scoreless in the 4th for the push, and as mentioned above with the Tenn and Air Force picks landed me at 9-10 for the week which with a couple of breaks could have easily been 13-6).  However, I did post my picks and am willing to take the heat for the bad ones as mentioned above.  Hope everyone had a successful week 4. "Arkansas on the ML POM --everyone on Bama but lines doesnt move. First real test for Bama as they looked very very vulnerable against a very average Penn State team, Look for Petrino to really open it up and the Arkansas defense to stuff that run. Way too many points on the road in the SEC; this would not even be an upset."

FL -13.5  Kentucky has played next to nobody I mean really bad teams. Getting line value due to ups and downs up Florida offense but one thing that has been dependable is defense which is stuffing the run and has 10 picks in three games; they will shut down Locke and make a true freshman beat them in the SWAMP; this is over in the first qtr.

Boise St -16.5  Boise at Home enough said. Their run defense is STOUT. Not worried about any running game from OSU; they wont run for 25 yards in this game. Blue turf means BIg wins.

AF -12   just think AF offensively and defensively are the better team AF is very experienced and did not lay down after being down to OU by 17; Wyoming on off year. "

LNL, tough day for everybody I know.  Before ever seeing your threard loved Miami Ohio, GTech ML no less, Purdue and the game that destroyed 3 great exotics and I mean great was Georgia.  Never in my dreams thought they would loose again.  Anyways hoped your wedding went well.  Are you posting NFL today and BOL.

this guys who thinks he has any credibility at all after playing 19 games in one week and losing 65% of them after making some horrible picks; i said from the beginning i like florida and bsu; those were my main pick; i didnt pick half the board; and I am sure 60 year old guys are even interested; you have lost any credibility you may have. If you add up all the games its more than 10k that was your supposed bankroll; I dont care if people follow my games you make a big spectacle out of it then look foolish when you lose almost every single game and make excuses for it your POD should have lost straight up; I know i am dealing with a 17 year old kid so its pointless responding but I think the forum knows who to go to and its not you for sure; you had a horrible day; why dont you talk about that; and i never said i was an edpert did I; from a guy playing fictional money and horrible picks. Now you are playing 12 NFL games; I never said I was an expert but what I do know is first you are not playing all those games no one is that stupid; I know you want people to follow you but when you pick half the board you lose any respect that you are trying to get. I know I am dealing with someone in their teens but seriously get a life, Its getting really pathetic now. Trying to build yourself up while attempting to tear others down? That way of interacting with others is a bad bet way of increasing your own damn cred, man. WTF?

And I'm sure as shiat that locknload2010's bankroll greatly exceeds what he has put on the line this weekend -- as I understand it, he's a successful businessman who had built, then sold several businesses. When you do something like that, rest assured, you'd be very comfortable.

It's a safe bet that locknload2010's bankroll is just play money for him and he can afford to lose that, but he surely does not like to lose it, as he has competitive fires still burning inside him.

And how do I know? I'm a successful, retired businessman myself. To me, locknload2010 has established his creds via his posts and good analysis of each game. I am certain that he'll bounce back from this bad weekend that he had, so he is worth paying attention to.

I considered his picks, along with picks of others and cherry picked them, winning nearly all of my 9 picks, except for one; I have two more games outstanding -- Miami/Jets (picked Miami) and the Over for the Red Sox/Yank game. I've taken half of my profits from early this day and invested them into the late games, which is how I like to do my days... doesn't always work in my favor, though.

I am grateful for locknload2010's expertise and will always look for his posts sharing his picks and insights, if he is still willing to share them with us. I'm a writer and know how much time that it takes to just plain write up, color the text, proof-read them and post them -- easily 2-3 hours JUST doing the writing, reading, proof-reading and posting of them. This does NOT include the hours and hours of handicapping work that goes behind all that.

And what did locknload2010 get for that bother of his sharing with us? Nothing $-wise. Respect-wise, cred-wise, he surely got something out of it.

And you, handicapper33? Why should we pay any attention to you? If you want to establish cred, go start a thread with your own picks and let the chips fall where they may. Leave others alone and criticize them not.

Now I'm going to take yet another walk along the trees and streams back to the casino and watch my games. I hope that I win these last two games.

Btw, at the last minute, I changed my Miami bet to Over the total (based on a gut hunch) -- thank God that I was able to do that, otherwise a couple of hundred would have gone   , so I was able to reach a 120% gain for the day today for me, which is nice, but I did not change my Over for the Yankee/RSox game, so got burned there. But I shouldn't complain, as a 120% gain day is quite rare in this crazy world of sports betting.

I'm going to miss baseball betting once it's over, but then there'd be basketball betting and I look forward to getting going with that.

Nice call. I hit both my "top plays" which kept me in the positive for the day even though I went 5-7 on the day.  At the end of the day, thats all that counts.  I have started a new thread for week 5 picks, feel free to add your thoughts.
