After facing Miami OH and Rutgers the Iowa secondary will challenged by the dynamic duel-threat of Brock Purdy who takes the Cyclones O to a level Iowa has yet to see in their first 2 games.The Iowa D has had good success against stationary QBs in the past. Purdy is far from just being a pocket passer and his ability to scramble and throw on the run make him unpredictable and dangerous. He is the Wild Card in this matchup. Keep in mind he did not play in this rivalry last year. The Hawkeyes lost 4 starters from their dominant DL last year. But I must note that DE AJ Epeneza was All Big 10 though he came off the bench. Obviously he played a lot. Must admit he is a beast. Some "experts" argue he is the best DL in the league this year.Iowa also lost hard-nosed MLB Jack Hockaday.The Hawkeyes return 4 starters from last years D.On offense Iowa will be without starting LT Alaric Jackson (knee). RG Cole Banwart missed the first two games and Ferentz is hopeful he can rotate him into the game some though that is not a definite yet.The Cyclones 2 deep lineup on both sides is a veteran bunch.

The new sportsbooks in Iowa are reporting that over 53% of their ENTIRE CFB HANDLE for this weekend to date are this ONE game.
Family in Dubuque tells me that with College Gameday going to Ames, the whole state is going crazier than usual for this. Add the fact that there will be 4 hours to wait after Gameday until the game starts....that the crowd will be very "Spirited" to say the least.
Can't wait.

This is without question Matt Campbell's best team so far.
Fully expect the Cyclones to play like their pizz is on fire!

Jayhawks squeaked by Indiana St at home.Then a loss stepping down in class vs the Chanticleers at home.
Now make a long road trip on a short week.
Lucky Les inherited a defense built to stop the wide open spread attacks of the Big 12.
BC is just going to line up and run it. Dillon all night. Jayhawks D is gonna be to light in the azz. If Kansas sucks up to stop the run Brown certainly capable of burning them deep. Blowout City.

This week is a key week to learn about a lot of teams ranked 5-100!
The more I look at the Iowa -Iowa St. game, the more I like the Hawkeyes only because of how they are built offensively and with IWST having some issues in the first half, even despite this a huge rivalry, this game could get away from them but so far I have taken a small IWST ATS play and just might do IOWA ML parlay now since I am leaning

I like Temple because I play them a lot. They have been the top team ats for the past decade and half decade. And they are currently on a 15-7-1 ats run. Granted that's history and coaches and players have since moved on that were part of those trends. The fundamental matchups on the field decide the game.
Like the moxie of qb Russo, he's a gamer and his O line should be solid here. He should be the best qb on the field. Still not sold on Terp QB Jackson. After all, Willis beat him out for the position down in Hokieville.
Fully expect Temple's "Wild Boyz" D to be flying around. Seven starters return as well as their top 5 LBs.
I'm going with the premise that the Terps haven't played anyone yet and now they are on the road.Syracuse was weaker than well water and appeared disinterested. Were they looking ahead to Clemson? (Well, the Orange should have been focusing on a game they had a chance to win)
Terps roll in to the Linc with a #21 bullseye on their chest.
