These are all leans. Unlike most regulars here, I wait and bet until right before the games kick off. I may change my mind, or the amount I wager depending on what I additional info I gather. Sure, I have been burned by not jumping on early spreads, but I have also saved a ton by not rushing in and making a foolish mistake because of a favorable (alleged) number.

You know how many times I've heard " Saban with two weeks to prepare?" The last couple of seasons he's hasn't done well covering the spread with two weeks to prepare. Most recent was a loss to ole miss. Using two weeks to prepare as a reason to bet bama is no longer a selling point.

2 weeks.... Old Miss beat them

Last year.... several weeks, Oklahoma killed them

2 weeks Last year.... All I heard was how Saban would stop Johnny Football... LOL..........How did that work out? JF put up almost 700 yds of offense.


Im not saying Saban won't cover this week.... Cause he might. But im with you. We need to stop with the Saban can walk on water nonsense

I agree. Now, as far as LSU is concerned.....they are in for an a$$whipping. They still cant throw the ball and I would be shocked if they score more than 10 points. Les simply doesnt have the "bailout" kids on his team this year....you know, the ones that save him from himself by making ridiculous plays....

Also, a Bama win will set up a MONSTER matchup with #1 Miss St on Nov 15th....No conspiracy theory here, but the SEC doesnt want LSU to beat Bama this weekend....Just sayin

Agreed, Bama will cover fairly easily IMO. The two weeks to prep thing is not the only reason, hail I was just making a quick blurb and point lol. But it definitely helps..... Ole Miss this year had two weeks prior to Memphis (who is decent), and then had Bama the next week. Do you not think OM prepared some of those THREE weeks for the biggest game of their school's last 50 years? Last year, I remember ole Salty azz Saban having two weeks to prepare for, uh hmmmm, LSU, and promptly kicked their azz by 21 points. So as Train stated, there are a ton more reasons to lay the points, but having two weeks doesn't hurt.
