Well Gang , The full Week 1 is only 15 days away. Hopefully all on 

the Forum are prepared for success this season. I just wanted to

point out 2 things to consider to insure success this season.

1. Resolving to only wager on matchups that offer " True Value " to the Bettor.

2. Having the discipline to strictly adhere to Item # 1 .

If you follow this plan , you will wager on fewer plays , but be more profitable.

Resolve to make this your most profitable season ever.  an_cheers

Thank you very much. I try to contribute to the Forum what I can and
also offer encouragement to others , when they are doing well and
also when they are struggling.I think it is the right thing to do.

Thanks Buddy .I appreciate the kind words. I set my goals very
high for this season to challenge myself.Last season was very
successful for me and I learned a few things in 2017 that have
the capability to make 2018 even more successful.We will see..

Full Week 1 is now 10 days away. Lines are starting
to move ( especially on Totals ) as bettors are in the
process of making their choices.
At this point in Fall Camp,I would expect Injuries
and Suspensions are largely behind us as depth
charts are filling in and focus shifts to preparation for
Week 1. So I will be watching line moves closely in
order to buy my Week 1 picks at my price.

speaking of totals, Ohio St and Alabama are two teams that I could see the book having a difficult time adjusting their totals.  The market has never really seen either of these teams have high level QB play, and they might be a little slow to adjust...

I'm looking to bet Bama overs early this season.

Week 1 totals tend to give books a challenge every
season due to graduations , early entrants as well
transfers , suspensions , and players recovering
from injury. All of these items make the ability to
grade production potential in Week 1 , extremely
difficult.

This makes Week 1 totals a great opportunity for
bettors.

College Football Forum. You will find that there
are a number of really good Cappers on this Forum.
Just so you know ,  I will probably not be posting
any of my plays to the forum this season. While I
posted my plays for 2017 , this season I will be
pursuing a coveted personal goal . I will try to have
at season's end , an 80 % minimum Win Percentage
on all games wagered on this season.
The pursuit of this goal will require me to limit what
I post here so as not to give bookmakers any
information that would make my task incrementally
more difficult.
I have been wagering on College Football now for
over 40 years, and as I said , this 80 % goal is
personal for me. I don't know how many chances
I have left to achieve it. so I will make this one count. My record for recent years is as follows:

In 2015 ( posted here ) , 68 % . In 2016 ( posted to
another forum , 67 % . In 2017 ( posted here ) 73 %
So I'm not too far from it. All I have to do is dig a
little deeper , focus a little more , and be very ,very
selective in the quality and the quantity plays that
I choose to wager on. That is my only goal for this
season, and I intend to give it my best effort.

Hurts the opener.

Thanks Bud . I appreciate it. I'm more that happy to
share information on the Forum , as I have since
2012. This goal is very important to me . I will
continue to post what information that I can to help
others this season, I just need to limit any kind of
information that would help the books  and negate
my advantage.

Bummer, I was also hoping to follow along and try to learn from one of the few good cappers on here. Good luck to you sir and I always enjoy seeing you around the site. Maybe you could post your plays after you make your wagers an_wink

The problem with that is I'm still telling the Books
what my plays are and what the WP is. 

Don't want to do that.

I think that's almost a guarantee.  Still my favorite play of week 1 is the Bama/Louisviille OVER.  I just hope Saban doesn't screw me with Hurts.

Gotcha! I don't understand why it matters if the books know what your plays are after you bet them and what the WP is, but hey, your the experienced one and must be a reason for it. That's why I don't make much money doing it! an_cheers

Jimmy , That's what I would be concerned on that

play . Tua starts and they get a lead , then in the

2nd half , Nick puts Hurts in and he's just a clock

killer. That would make the over a tough get.

There are a lot of good cappers on this Forum who
not only show others their skills , but also take the
time to explain the rationale for their decisions.

At season's end , you will be surprised how much
that you have learned that you can apply to next
season. For me , the process has evolved over
40 years.I'm still learning.
