Tech wins,,,,,,,,,, and everyone gets a big sign of relief.
I did the math, Tech could have run the clock out, by kneeling.

I would have simply rolled the QB out and told him to hook slide into 2nd base for a 3 yard loss stalling, about 4 seconds.   If they would have done that, they could have snapped the 3rd down on 45th second, and snap 4th down with 3 seconds left.  wheeeww.
Thanks CJACK. had your 3 in a row that were on your list

I'd like to know why.  I haven't pulled the trigger yet, but you'd be hard pressed to get me off of Alabama.  The only way Texas wins would be the intangibles...and those are nearly impossible to measure in this game.

here would be my one word of caution... lots of people have asked, "what is the point of this thread?"... or "why do this?"...

in other words, what is he gaining by posting these plays?

well, there is only one explanation (i assume most people have figured this out, even though nobody has explicitly stated what it is)...

the only reason to do something like this, is to create a favorable line on the final game (Alabama-Texas) by posting the opposite pick that the sharps played...

in other words, post the first 6 games correctly... hope they go 4-2 or 5-1... then post the wrong pick on the last game... that makes all the people who are buying into the picks load up on the last one, creating an opportunity for great value on the other side...

to take it one step further... the only way someone could post the real plays of Fezzik and Billy Walters, based on inside info, without getting their asses quickly WHACKED... is if Fezzik and Walters are in on it, or at least endorsed it... for all we know, they are hoping to grab Alabama at (-3) after people start jumping on the Texas bandwagon...

i am not saying i know this is what's going on... i'm just saying to be smart about it...

i only point this out because there is absolutely no doubt that Alabama will beat Texas... none!  Texas can't play at this level... their offense is stagnant...

so you aren't exactly getting a whole lot of "sharp" value at (+4.5)...

like i said earlier... i don't care if every one of the top 100 CFB cappers of all time are all on Texas HUGE... it is the wrong play!

easy dtown... these teams offenses are almost dead even... but the defenses are not even close...

use the same formula to cap the Iowa-GT game...

if you doubt this formula... look at how it has worked out so far this bowl season... when two teams are pretty even on offense, but one team is much better on defense... it's easy money!

Well damn Ice.  Didn't Texas beat Nebraska.  That win is way underrated.  Colt McCoy could be a 2 time Heisman if he has a couple better games and not such a difficult schedule the past 3 years.  People and Vegas love Texas in this one and I can see why.  I think Bama shows to be in a bit of a hangover for this game also.  They have just had so much go right for them over the past few months.  Texas is ready to pounce on this huge opportunity(fucking gift 1 second and fg by like a foot or so)

i agree that is an underrated win, bobby... but you saw how much they struggled against a quality defensive line... have you heard of the Alabama Crimson Tide?  it's gonna be deja vu... Bama has faced top notch defenses and scored against them... Texas has struggled all year against weak defenses, and against the only two quality defenses they faced they didn't top 16 points, and really didn't look like a team that was significantly better than OU or Nebraska...

if Alabama is really the best team in the country... and the fact that they went undefeated through the SEC and knocked off the two-time (and also undefeated) defending national champs decisively suggests they are... then they should control the game, and should not be overly concerned with the Texas' offense...

If the entire covers community bet their whole bankroll on one side of a game, it probably wouldn't move any line a 1/2pt.

Not sure what the motivation for cjack to post these plays, but I really doubt that the Sharps give a damn about an online message board.

    Nebraska's d-line > Bama's d-line

Suh by him self is better than 90% of the d-lines in 1-A.

That Florida/Bama game was a one of kind performance.  Saban had his team better prepared and with a better game plan.  It was purely a domination in the Xs and Os department between two equally matched teams.  If Bama actually beat other teams the way they beat UF then i would believe that they were that much better.

Hell Kentucky and Tennessee put up a better fight than UF.
You want to talk about Texas' 13 points against Nebraska? What about Bama's 12 points against Tennessee?

Texas is not going to get dominated by Alabama and Brown and Muschamp will be prepared after seeing Saban's game plan against UF.
