I'm sorry that you folks out west and down south have a hard time dealing with the fact that the cradle of football is in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

    Dumbest shit I've ever heard.

It's the cradle of Offensive Linemen, but ATHLETES?
Gimme the Southeast any day.  Fla, Louisiana, Texas.  No argument.

Well, having been on the 5 year business degree thing in the 80s, I will whole heartedly agree with the average type of ciriculum that Ohio State players are involved in.

A plethora of "Theory of Pys. Ed" and "Sociology" majors. It was a fucking joke.

There are some valid reasons to be turned off by the common and present Ohio St fans (see godfather for prime example) since winning the 2002 Championship game.

.........but they are a pretty damn good team coached by a class act coach he seems to be running a more solid and better quality type of student athlete than John Cooper did.

    They are certainly a top #5 or# 6 team.

Koaj was right on about West Virginia. They can't deal will that type of speed, especially Slayton and that crazy ass Mountineer QB.

OSU would have a much better chance beating USC than either W.Va. or Missouri for that matter.

Tressel could prepare OK for LSU and almost any SEC team no matter what is said around here.

Oregon would have knocked our (the Bucks) dicks in the dirt had their QB not been injured and out for the season.

Good luck to my team regardless.

Well, Ohio State never lost to a dog shit team like Stanford this year.

2 more games on their schedule and Illinois would have probably busted into the top ten with their development and serious movement up on the quality scale.

OSU would/will beat the Trojans by a TD

West Virginia might beat Ohio State by 7-10 points. We might get lucky with serious game preparation and beat them like we did those dumbass Hurricanes as in 2002 as double digit dogs also.

I posted before that I will bet my cash on the W.Va. ML if my Buckeyes play the Mountaineers. W.Va. gives OSU too many matchup problems and doesn't deal well at all with an athetic and amazing QB like the Mountaineers have.

Wow...a whole thread to bash a good college team? Why do you care about them so much? Jealous a bit people?

BTW not a buckeye fan here, just think this is kind of ridiculous how people spend so much of their time bashing on of the most storied programs around. All this for what, because Florida beat them by a lot last year? Oh, that's right, I forgot all the schools you guys cheer for have never been blown out. My mistake.

Miami is garbage. Is every Ohio State* fan a kid, also? Where have you people been for the last 25 years? Ohio State is a joke. They have 1,1,1,1,1,1 National Title in 40 years and it was a GIFT. Not earned, actually LOST. Miami could lose their next 20 games (they might) and still be a more important national program than Ohio Taint*.

Same goes for Nebraska, USC, Oklahoma and Florida State. Florida is getting pretty damn close. Ohio State* is in another category below all these guys.

Win more and you can act like you matter, but until then, you are just another team. Play somebody while you are at it. 2 tough games a year maybe???

    canes47,

The only time that Miami has ever won was when every coach back to Schnellenberger on up to Dennis Erickson cheated and continualy broke NCAA recruiting rules and numerous other violations to gain advantage. Fact.

They stopped winning when they stopped playing with a bunch of common thugs and street criminals. Fact.

Their new female A.D. at Miami Univ is having none of it ever again as long as she presides over that athletic dept regardless of whatever their W/L record is. Fact.

How old are you? 12? Know your history about the team you are sucking off kid.

haha canes. your obviously still pissed about a game from 02. neb, usc, ok are legit. sorry miami and fsu were once good, but those years are done. miami lets criminals in and still cant put together a good team. sandler and the longest yard crew would embarress them, and theyre actors. good luck in the future when florida destroys your boys.

Ohio State will be better next year. THey recruited one of the best high school linebackers in the country. Their whole game plan is not winning any national title, just beating michigan.

canes, Miami USED to be a great team. FSU and NEB. Those days are long gone. Do you see those programs coming back? not likely gonna happen soon. I guess using your logic Army is a national power, because in the 1940's they won a lot, and Bama is a top program because they won big in the 50's - 70's , you are living in the past. If you say those programs WERE great noone can argue with you, but that doesn't mean shit now. They just had a nice 20 year run, it's over, and FSU may go to a shit bowl, Miami and NEB are out, my how the mighty have fallen.

Florida is going to hammer us next year. I will take 26- though. Maybe Ohio State* would be faster in January if they weren't eating cupcakes all fall.

Nobody from Miami has ever been caught walking around with enough alcohol and firearms to take out an entire city. So, Nebraska is legit and Miami isn't? Did you watch that Rose Bowl?? Don't forget Miami was sitting #3 in 2005 after about 10 games or so. It is been a tough stretch and I admit that our football team is an embarrassment to how the game is played. Miami is still a national power to me, maybe not to you. Fine. OSU* never was.

With the large number of teams out there and parody of competition, just having one loss in a season is a seriously good feat in it's own.

Unless Ohio State has to play West Virginia or Missouri in a bowl, I believe they will win,

I'll put real money up to to any shit talker above this post only who brought up USC that Ohio St. will beat USC if they play.
