Today I went to a Philly bar in Naples Florida to watch my Philly Eagles beat the NY Giants. As if that wasn't good enough I turn on the radio,on the way home, and they announce Tim Tebow is coming back for his senior at Florida
What this also means is that in all probability Brandon Spikes will come back also.Since Spikes met Tebow when they were both being recruited at Alabama, he said wherever Tebow goes , I will go.He followed him to Florida and after the game a few days ago he told Ryan Stamper I will be coming back !!
I wonder if it would be too much to ask for Percy Harvin to complete the hat trick

I'm not into the sexual comments...I'm not riding anyone's jock straps...but Tebow is a bad-ass. And watching that announcement he made was just sweet...that place was so damn loud and there were only 40,000 fans there...must be a good feeling.
Florida rolls to the NC again next year....but they need to watch themselves carefully. They will have competition next year from both Bama and LSU and will have a tougher SEC championship game to play, IMO.
But if they don't slip...and I believe they won't because that loss to Ole Miss this year was enough to remind them for two seasons...they will beat Texas or USC in the NC game.

One of last years top recruits on defense Dee Finley will re-enter school.He along with Will Hill were 2 of the top 5 star freshman last year. Hill was a back-up and special teams guy. He4 came on strong and should be very good in 2009
Meyer is the complete package. A great coach,great recruiter, and motivator

At first I thought he was joking but he brought up some good point. Tebow can play the role of of a running back with the passing skill a la Randel El. I think if Tebow is in the game, def coordinator would have to pay extra attention to his presence. Would like to you get your opinion on Tebow and the NFL. Yes I also know he will not be a good QB because he's not a pocket passer like Stafford but then again if anyone actually watched Stafford, he's a horrible QB with bad decision making skill.

Meyer is close to Bellichek , who I feel would be the perfect coach for Tebow. He needs a great coach that will know how to use his unique talents.If they make him a drop back passer,it may not work.Maybe Meyer will put in some pro packages to get Tebow ready for the next level.
I think he would be good for a team that uses the west coast type offense and uses the shot-gun formation a lot.Maybe some H back or wildcat formations.Remember michael Vick was pretty good at Atlanta and Tebow has the same type of talent
50 years ago Paul Hornung was drafted by Green Bay and the legendary Vince Lombardi switched him to a bruising RB. He recognized his running ability and Hornung became an all pro. Without Lombardi Hornung may have been a career back-up as a QB
The key for Tebow,s succcess in the NFL will be the right fit.If he was drafted this year by the Detroit Lions it might of been a disaster.
Look at Randy Moss. Great talent but 20 teams passed on him in the draft. He plays for Minnesota and Oakland and is always a problem.Then New England picks him up and under Bellichek he is a model citizen
It will be interesting how it plays out.Right now I,m just happy that he is coming back. I will worry about his pro career in 2010.

USC it all depends on who is coming back to replace 10 people would be hard for any team USC and Florida now would be the only Teams I think that could do it. If Spikes comes back or not I still think Florida will be fine there secondary is all coming back which is always a great thing. WR could be alittle tricky next year but they have enough talent to come through and RB is stocked for sure. I see Florida Running the ball alot next year with Tebow.

Vick had a cannon of an arm. His problem was making the easy throws. He would just rifle passes to someone 5 yards away. And their running abilities are so different, as different as their skin color. Vick was one of the fastest dudes around when he ran the ball. He was unbelievable. Tebow isn't out running anybody on the field. ANYBODY. I'd love to see Tebow's 40. Maybe a 4.65? I could be wrong. But Vick was in the 4.2-4.3 range! Completely different players. Defensive coordinators wouldn't have nearly as difficult time game planning for Tebow as they did with Vick.
