A second bad week to start the season (7-10, .412), taking the overall to .419 (13-18). Not good. Looking for a bounce, the box likes these for week #3: 1) Delaware(-4.5)/CoastalCarolina 2) Louisville(-1.5)/SMU 3) Clemson(-3.5)/NorthCarolina 4) TexasTech(-7.5)/Houston 5) OldDominion(-2.5)/EastCarolina 6) Mississippi(+3.5)/LSU 7) SanJoseSt(+7)/FresnoSt 8) Maryland(+3.5)/VirginiaTech
For the record; a quick look under the hood. The algorithm failed to produce rank-value in 2025 -- and has performed similarly this year. While that could be an early season growing-pain for the 2026 design model, the Human Administrator thinks maybe not. Systems that produce large volume (like this one) show their worth in that key attribute.
Of course, finding the proper fix-it wrench is the challenge. Nonetheless, with optimism, I donned the overalls this past week, and torqued a few major nuts & bolts. We shall see.....
57 on the board. Lots more opportunity than last week (49). Good luck, TheKingfish

Jumping in with no less than five (5) best-bets to add; along with a sequence reorder. It’s possible there may be more late-adjust volatility in the tweaked system (???). 1) Louisville(-1.5)/SMU 2) TCU(-19)/ArkansasSt 3) Oklahoma(-21)/NewMexico 4) Clemson(-3.5)/NorthCarolina 5) TexasTech(-7.5)/Houston L 6) OldDominion(-2.5)/EastCarolina 7) Mississippi(+3.5)/LSU 8) Delaware(-4.5)/CoastalCarolina 9) SacrementoSt(+27.5)/NorthDakotaSt 10) SanJoseSt(+7)/FresnoSt 11) Maryland(+3.5)/VirginiaTech 12) SouthAlabama(-6.5)/OhioUniv 13) LouisTech(+20.5)/Baylor
Please allow some grace on the Hornets & Bulldogs. Both are later games I’ve not yet placed; duly hoping for 28 & 21 respectively. Good luck, TheKingfish
